Corridor Digital and VIVE Mars CamTrack team up for Son of a Dungeon

Check out the Corridor Digital team using virtual production to create their D&D series, Son of a Dungeon. Sam Gorski and crew use a combination of Unreal Engine and Mars CamTrack to frame their VFX in real-time with their actors in a technique called Simulcam. This allows them to create stunning cinematography that would otherwise be much more difficult to accomplish. We are so thankful Corridor Digital chose VIVE Mars as their camera tracking solution.

  1. I have one question. Where are you doing your color grading? Do you grade the green screen footage in Unreal and then render out final shots? Or do you bring the green screen footage and virtual backgrounds into other software like Davinci Resolve and grade the layers independently? Oh and one more small question… if you grade in Unreal, what tools do you use in Unreal Engine to do that?
