NO DIG GARDEN BED – Feeding the Microorganisms in the Soil

When we talk about the soil, we are talking about the living skin of our planet. Soil is the basis of life for everything. The health of my garden depends on the health of this ecosystem, and because I eat what comes from the garden, it is becoming clearer to me that the level of my well being is equal to the well being of the soil.

I am connected to it in this way.

Healthy soil – healthy life

  1. Studying PERMACULTURE with my teacher Geoff Lawton – Officially…enrollments for the 2022 Permaculture Design Certificate course are closed – BUT because Geoff is my teacher, I still have a back door open for Weedy Watchers to the present online course if you want to study PERMACULTURE this year. If you go to the enrollment page using this Weedy Garden affiliate link https://www.discoverpermaculture.com/a/2147517188/UvHULpHp – you can also recieve a US$100 discount off the online course by writing "2022WEEDYBEARD" in the coupon. I am also doing it again this year myself.

  2. Hi there! I grow corn yearly on a small plot and I chop em up into small bits. Can I mulch my plants in the greenhouse with this? They are kind of rotten and smell odd and I'm afraid they house aphids or diesies. Do we have to add yearly mulch/compost in order to keep the soil to not compact and rich? I also have hay, but I mix that in with manure from the goats in order to achieve compost to add on top of the soil for no dig.
