  1. Kind of suprised this is not standard issue in some way. For example the game hunt showdown lets you melee with every firearm in the game, unless they have the correct attachments they do very little damage, needing several hits to kill even a basic zombie but it does let you kill them without wasting ammo and does give you xp for the weapon.

  2. Just did some tests (on a server mind you) with the Brita weapon pack guns (the 44 automag, nagant revolver, and viper 223 lever action). The two pistols worked, the rifle didn't.

It was also happening really inconsistently, like 1 in 20 times. I found out that it works a lot better (half the time) if you have an autofire script to keep clicking as they walk up to you. I also found out that it appears to not work at all when you are strafing in combat mode, only standing still. This might be where the "only works on single zombies" comes from because you kinda need to be strafing to not die in that scenario, unless the other zombie is on the ground like in your example.

Correction: no constant clicking necessary, just hold down left click

  3. Holy crap the algorithm watches me… I got this bug just 20 minutes ago but oddly enough with a .45 although it was a mod weapon. Sig p220 if not mistaken from the brita weapons pack? I'd double check but my survivor is no longer such.

  4. Also does this create sound? Doesn't sound like it on the video but that would… literally remove half the draw back of using guns!
Granted it replaces it with another pretty huge drawback…

  5. So i think this is supposed to be like "oh shit the zombie has me" pulling of the trigger when you push a zombie. The game just doesnt know your gun is empty so it deals the damage. It isnt a bug entirely but a bug in the fact it doesnt know your out of ammo

  6. Hello Retanaru, I'm not sure if this is the same bug but I made an unlisted video of (To display the glitch to fellow admins on a server I play on) showing an infinite ammo, but at a range glitch. Since the cat is out of the bag, I'll change the visibility to public. if you want to have a look at it.

  7. Really you should be able to use your weapon without ammo as a club, not as effective as a realy meele weapon and it damages the shit out of the gun bam balanced feature.

  8. I always found my bare hands did the job better as far as accuracy went and flexibility. I'm able to kill a group of 4 zeds using the the push stomp method also standing on a zombie dose help as well. Personally if I had to go with a weapon it wouldn't be range unless shotgun other then that to noisy and unreliable in panic mode, to much weight during raids were you want maximum carry and just a pinch of room to escape easyer. As far as melee weapons go I found long blunt to be a bit more effective then one hand I'm not aiming to kill only nock back so I can get away if I want to sweep I'll use spears or fencing mainly. You can argue that one hand weapons weigh less and some do more damage but they don't do as much of a nock back chance I want to stagger or nock down either by pushing or hitting to get away, and yea this dosent apply to one or two zombies I'm talking about a hord of 5 or more.. iv found pistols to be more abundant in ammo spawns but they are more or less effective unless you level up your aiming to atleast 5 even then the noise isn't worth taking on a raid you'd be far better carrying a lead pipe and some sneakers. Going back to shotgun it's fairly effective even at low level aiming the chance to hit multiple zeds plus the damage alone is great for cleaning tho only temporarily unless very secluded ammo however is more difficult to find or so be the luck of the draw. Lastly Knives effectively a instant kill if timed correctly however durability is not there espicaly the first knives you come by being kitchen Knives or butter knives however they are light and work in a pinch on one zombie but your more effective pushing the zed down and stomping it dead then getting that lucky hit. I suppose you could level up your bladed weapons but that's fairly difficult to do.

  9. Question: I have done some testing with Hemophobic.
It appears that Hemophobic only applies if youre acctually bleeding because of a wound. Having bloody clothes makes no difference at all. Did I fuck up or do you get the same results?
