Today we have another home improvement! When we moved into our house, there are some problems we faced. The house is quite old and the bathroom is not comfortable. There is no running water either. I am very glad that my husband is such a handy man and we decided to solve these problems by ourselves. First we concentrated on the bathroom. We used the materials we bought the last time we were in town. Boris cut the metals and then welded them together to make the metal frame. We also bought a can of epoxy paint and painted the metal frame to prevent rust. We used metal cladding for the wall and roof. We also used a blind rivet to hold them in place. It took us five days to finish the bathroom. We are very pleased with it.
The next thing we did was to prepare the huge water tanks we bought. These are 2000 liters each. Boris made a filter out of a small basin, a sieve and some sintepon. This way the leaves and dirt from the roof will be filtered and only the clean water will go into the tank. This system was proven to work when a heavy rain came. The water tank was full and the leaves and dirt were filtered. We are very happy with these improvements.

Very smart Filter system….cool
You should apply silicone sealant first before installing the pipes onto the tank to prevent small leaks.
Boris I suggest to gdevelop fresh water from your pod or making a deep excavator with motor for summer time
Good idea Boris👍 but Filter must be Change after 3 to 4 weeks
Goodluck and God bless for all your effort to build a house and fix everything for your important needs in the house.
you can extend more pipes all the way to the kitchen sink and toilet
I learned from Boris a lot in this video…this is educational and informative. I am looking forward to more similar content. Love the idea of filtering that blue water tank. I was wondering what was the base of your bathroom metal shed that holds it well to the ground especially against strong winds and typhoons? I am not sure if putting water manually into the washing machine will not affect its mechanism. It might shorten the machine's life span. I guess one of these days Boris will connect a water pipe to the bathroom from the water tank reservoir?
Before buying products check and do research on it so money is not wasted.
Thanks a lot for this video.
Curious as to why you chose to use rivets instead of screws for the metal siding? The screws are easier to remove if you ever have to replace the siding.
Oh wow. Very smart, Boris. Ill remember this. Thanks. 🙂
You can put a couple of chlorine tablets in the water tank, you can almost drink it. Love rain water, it is so soft…Love how you use pillow cotton to filter all the impurities. Boris is such a handyman 🙂
Darlyn and Boris have good teamwork! God Bless your hard work!

A DIY man. Boris
Brilliant idea. Good job, Boris. Your expertise will indeed be applied and appreciated.
😍💖
I suggest you connect a pipe to another tank that will allow the water to flow into it while the main tank that catches the rain keeps emptying itself. In other words "catching two birds in one shot!".
