FuwaMoco dodged a huge bullet with Kurosanji. iirc, they also applied to Kurosanji before they got accepted into Hololive.
I hate Ninji as much as the rest of you but this is just reaching for drama, the whole "oooh they want to do something that was successful elsewhere so they're evil" is just a stupid argument and you could use it against literally any Vtuber, company or anything really. If it works people are going to copy it, that's just the way things work. The issue that should be focused on is the hiring minors part, I and many people over 30 had jobs by 15 or 16 but the weren't jobs catering to a lonely, horny and extremely parasocial viewer base.
Nahhhhhhhhh, hiring minors is crazyyyyyyyyyyy.
Edit: but hey, to be charitable, in a business sense, it's only natural to try and do what works. So if the twins/pair vtubers worked so well, why not they try too? xd thought it is a bit of a shame.

While the concept of pair/sister vtubers sharing one account wasn't invented by FWMC (or their PL), they were the ones that took it to new heights.
Nijisanji trying to force their own version not even a year of FWMC is kind of cheap.
The synergy and natural chemistry between the 2 has to be very good. If the content of 2 of them is worse than just 1 of them, what would be the point? Finding a talented pair that works well together seems pretty rare. Doing a "casting call" to get a idol pair seems a bit like a desperate move.

ANYCOLOR always does the same thing. When COVER Corp released the EN branch, ANYCOLOR went through a meltdown of not knowing what to do, rebranded their former IN branch as EN, then reverted the change, to then nuke the whole branch and build EN from 0.
There was a point in which Nijisanji was thriving over Hololive, mainly the JP side, but that isn't the case anymore, and hasn't been for quite some time. Niji's prime feels way longer ago than it really was, Hololive is so far ahead now. I don't think ANYCOLOR understands how much Hololive has grown, they're massive, no agency rivals them anymore, I don't think COVER Corp even worries about "the competition" anymore, there isn't one.

About the VTA news, the only new thing is they aiming to hire pairs, allowing minors to join was happening from the start of VTA
Someone mentioned it before but the reason why Fuwamoco skyrocketed in popularity and was a massive success was because they already had an established fanbase and people were cheering on yagoo for bringing the back and they already passionate vtubers with them being goofy wholesome peeps here. Trying to replicate this is very hard to do and requires investment and effort which nijisanji is probably lacking here lol 😂

I mean, Haachama and Laplus were minors when they entered in Hololive, but i guess it depends on the insurances the office offers them for their safety, something kurosanji can't do properly.
