Kilt-Man had a sudden urge to indulge in gratuitous violence and sleaze β¦ and not for the first time! π
In the first of what turned out to be a double bill of warped depravity and insane low budget shocks, he viewed Umberto Lenziβs cult shocker from 1980, Nightmare City!
Here, he extensively reviews this quasi zombie-riff of roadkill-faced ghouls on a blood-craving rampage!
Expect tangents, spoilers and whisky!

Quentin Tarantino used the name Hugo Stieglitz in his movie Inglorious Bastards from his his love of Nightmare City
Great content brother. How do you get all this done inbetween a day job too? Madness. Nightmare city is a solid flick too! Haha
Absolutely the best description of female breasts I think I have ever heard. ππ€£πππΊπ²πΊπ²
Loved the review. ππ₯π₯π₯π₯
As soon as I heard the Kilt – Man chortling over "the back of Sheila's scalp parting company with the rest of her cranium"….. I knew that I had to revisit Nightmare City…. the likes of which I had not seen since the dawn of the 80's and the dawn of the 90's. It was a well paced film and, by God, those pesky irradiated fothermuckers made mincemeat out of our "security forces"! Loved the part with the "operating theatre invasion"… and that no – nonsense, badass lead surgeon throws a syringe at the leading "popeye", equally as good as any 007. π
Great film. Still love it! BRAVO Review Kilt – Man! ππ₯
…….. AD 509 tells me that the Outpost are on high – alert….. expecting another chopper visit…. someday soon..
Thankfully some kind soul uploaded this movie to the tube which saved me splashing out on the bluray, which if I had of bought it would have gone straight in the βdid I actually pay money for thisβ stack of movies π€£. Some enjoyable & interesting scenes but for 1980 in the shadow of Dawn of the dead itβs pretty β¦. shit. hilarious bolognaise face FX, spring loaded knives, overly gory boob biting zombie wannabeβs, utter nonsense story & scene insertion and lastly the terrible terrible dialogue. Iβm glad I watched it for the laugh and experience and will probably pick it up for the collection but it was a struggle to get through without whiskey haha π€£ππ₯ mutations up next, which looks promising! π
