Exodus varnish to the rescue @ebornsreborns Thank you Emily, it saved the day #rebornartist

Disclaimer: There are no children in my videos and my videos are not intended for kids.
I painted Laura by Bonnie Brown just because I wanted to paint her, but when Tory came for a visit she fell in love and I decided to varnish her for Tory at @toryberch so she will last a long time and not be shiny.

They say to use Irresistables matte varnish straight from the jar, so I did, but after baking I had cracks and peeling all over the baby doll. I was so upset I wanted to cry. My heart was pounding so hard, I prayed because I really genuinely care about the quality of my work. I put my heart into it and I want it to reflect my care and love, especially when I am making a baby doll for people I care about.

So I got an epiphany (an answer to my desperate prayer, from my beloved heavenly Father) and I tried the exodus varnish, that Emily from @E-borns sent me a sample a couple months back (Thank you so much Emily) I tried it on all the white cracks in the crease on one leg, and brushed it on with a brush over the entire leg again with the exodus matte varnish and baked it, all the cracks, the peeling, GONE !

…and just a little bit of it covered the entire doll. I baked all the parts again and it saved my besties baby doll. I wanted to share this in case it may help someone else to whom this happens to. Get the exodus varnish to begin with, save yourself a ton of grief, it is so worth the money and it can and will save your hard work from disaster. Hugs. Grace
