  1. The "Kelvin" line, with that cast, did a great job. It's a shame they cannot get them all together for future movies!! And the woman who played the rebel/ escaped prisoner, living in the "Dead" starship!?!?! what a great storyline to develop/ explore!! Oh well, hollywood can & will fuck up any wet dream…….

  2. The Kelvin Time line Star Trek seems to me to be an alternte reality. Spock having a relationship and making out with Uhura in movies is not how the orginal Star Trek was. I can see Captain Kirk and Uhura having an affair behind closed doors in private, but Spock and Uhura? And the destruction of Romulas was never in the Orginal Star Trek series. And Captain Pike did not get killed in an attack like in the movie into darkness movie in the Kelvin Timeline. Seems to me they are writing it as a alternate reality star trek script. Acting is good script is out of wack so to speak.Strange News worlds seems to have the StarTrek time line in order. Except for Star Trek Discovery with the engineer and the doctor of same sex having a love afair and hugging and making out in the show that it should be kept behind closed doors in private. We do not need to see that kind of behavior especialy Star Trek series. I think it is in bad taste and should not have been in the series at all. Unbecoming of officers. They need to keep it clean. Keep love affairs between the crew out of it especially those with the same sex, keep it behind closed doors in private that we do not need to view. Its star trek not a soap opera tv series. Its has a PG rating for children they do not need to see that. With the one about Star Trek Kevlin time line New Generations they most likely will change the narative and change it to their liking therefore it will be another alternate reality star trek movie or show. Star Trek 2009 I think is the best one out of the 3 they have made so far. The into darkness 2nd but with Pike being killed was a mistake and Spock and Uhura having an afair and making out in the movie should of been kept behind closed doors. Just seems out of line and unbecoming an officer in star trek. It tells us where the writers of the shows, series and movies are coming from. Do they care about the time line being accurate or not? The Kelvin Time line seems not to care. In my oppinion. When will they break away from the past star trek series and create a new star trek series with new missions of space adventure for our entertainment and stop trying to remake the old missions with the same time line but move on and keep it clean and becoming star trek officers. Discovery has done that by going 900 years into the future creating new missions except for their engineer and doctor affair. Yet they want to keep Captain Kirk of the enterprise going and going and going like the entergize bunny. Strange new worlds with Captain Pike should have a good long run for 5 to 7 seasons on its own. A remake of star trek with captain kirk will most likely be like watching updated reruns , remakes that have been replayed over 50 years we need new missions not reruns or remakes! Perhaps captain Pike or Kirk will do a time jump into the future like discovery did so they can start writing new missions? Same goes for Star Gate SG1 series being worked on. New missions not reruns or remakes! Move on! In my oppinion! You want to enjoy being involved in Star Trek and feel the excitement of actually being in action and going on missions? 3. I'd love to see a new Kelvin Timeline movie, even better a series. Just as long as the woke crap and bad writing is kept out.
For a recast of the TNG crew, well that would only work if they actually made a series alongside it or better to have the new movies and a tv series work together as in complimenting each other.

  4. I feel they shouldn't do anymore recasting
Just leave it alone. Start fresh. Have a good story first, take your time then do a new movie. Use an existing crew or new crew. An original idea would be nice.

  5. I strongly suggest you learn to narrate as if you're talking and not reading. I shouldn't hear every comma you see in your text. And the sing-songy cadence of your voice is just too annoying. That's why I won't be subscribing.

  6. By all means allow Abrams and Kurtzman to add more of their diarrhea soaked turd ideas all over our beloved TNG , , ,go ahead guys TNG has it coming , , tired of hearing Brent Spiner's conflicting statements about Data anyway , actor has no loyalty to the best character he ever played outside of "Night Court" , , , ,

  7. I've liked Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks and Prodigy, but I greatly disliked Discovery and Picard. — Instead of recasting and retreads, they need to do something original, a new ship and base and crew. And they need to stop with the Kelvin JJ and Disco timelines. Get back to the real timeline and quit screwing around with retconning everything just because they don't want to be bothered knowing the Trek history.

  8. Like movie remakes, recasting Star Trek doesn’t cut it for me. The actors sound close to the originals but look nothing like them. They’re basically impressionists. TOS to Voyager (and ST-Picard) was pretty much it for me. But I do hope the new ones succeed. 🖖🏻

  9. I have no interest at all to see a recast next generation. I would so much more enjoy to see something new, if they want to go with the enterprise, there are the untapped adventures of The enterprise B and C. Going TNG only shows that they have no creative ideas of their own.

  10. Ok, I'll suffer one next gen recast movie provided the premise is they travel back in time and make sure the kelvin timeline never happens and proper Star Trek can happen again. New trek sucks, always has, always will. Only good thing to come of it is maybe a few more people know about Anson Mount, that guy is just a great actor. Hell on wheels was a great show.

  11. GIANT FREAKING ROBOT ARE LIKE 0 OUT OF 100 . THIS IS ALL BS CLICKBAIT MAKE UP SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT BS .

The TNG crew has been in a lot of advertisements lately for Picard S3. It's a logical BS fantasy to suddenly say they will be in a movie.
But don't forget the cast is like 80 yrs old!
We love this goofy idea lets click away! and if it were true why not just make an over the top story and cameo in every single character from the TNG time era into a fan service film?

Believe me this idea has zero wheels. No studio would be investing in a 80 year old cast that is already on TV in season 3 and had a bomb movie
ending already. Your source is garbage.

  12. Let's see how the TNG crew all met at the academy even though they were at different stages of their careers when they first came together!

Maybe I'm just old and cranky but as much as I disliked it, Discovery was the way to go. Plenty of unknown eras of Trek to fill (time between TMP and WOK, and time between Gen and TNG for example) or just give us the next next Generation in the 25th century.

  13. If it's not in the proper universe, but the jacked up Kelvin-verse that shouldn't have existed in the first place…I ain't watching it. I've got less than zero reason to do so. Let's relegate it to three films, encapsulate those, and send them off in a funerary capsule into space– never to be opened again. It would be like the Ceti-Alpha earworm getting loose on Earth.

  15. There is one other actor besides Tom Hiddleston that I would suggest for Data. That actor is Jason Narvy. Jason Narvy is the actor who played "Skull" in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers the TV series.
