EPIC COLLAPSE | New York Jets vs Miami Dolphins RECAP | Week 18 2023

The New York Jets have lost 6 straight games after dropping a week 18 matchup vs the rival Miami Dolphins. A huge disappointment to end the season allowing Miami to advance to the playoffs and to not even score a touchdown in the final 3 weeks. An epic collapse to say the least. Leave your thoughts down below and as always..Go Jets!

  1. All I wanted to see was the Jets give Streveler a chance today and they couldn't even manage that. I guess 6 points per game was good enough for this coaching staff. No adjustments necessary.

  2. In 2020 the Jets won 2 games. In 2021 4 games. This year 7 games. We still did better than the reigning Super Bowl champions. The Rams only have 5 wins this season. Let’s keep things in perspective. We are heading in the right direction.

  3. Miami fan here. Frankly, the Jets did much better than anyone expected they would at the onset of the season. If someone told you that you would be contenting for a playoff berth at all, you would have been overjoyed. This rivalry makes football fun. Really good job. Best of all, the Pats are going in the opposite direction. See you guys next season.

  4. Hey Ian!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I heard that C Connor McGovern is a free agent. Do you think that Jets GM Joe Douglas will look to upgrade at the center position? I really do believe that the Jets should address the center position in some way this off-season for sure. Do you agree with me Ian?

  5. Only the Jets, could end the season with a safety. I mean honestly… they stink. Now, as stated before we need:
    QB and
Trolls from Mordor for offensive linemen – send a scout to middle earth and get some walk-on players. Running back, we need runners to burst through the line. Coaches need to go back and watch film and correct their mistakes. Defense plays tough but they too make mistakes. We need some veteran coaches to be involved with this group, to mentor, players and coaches. Make the right picks in the draft – no projects, we already wasted a year for this defense. Such a bummer this year, however, we all knew any of these QB’s did not have it to get us there. At least I didn’t. MF’nW laid it out there,
ZW, needs help and Flaccno, should be done in NY. Hey! Enough of my Yapping. On to the draft!!! Thx for all the reports and I look forward to the next one. Cheers!

  6. The Jets need to do what most teams need to do: build the best possible O Line FIRST! All the most promising offensive backfield players in the world won't matter if they're being beat to crap week in and week out. Just ask Timm Rosenbach, the young Cardinals QB with a good contract and a bright future who walked away from the game at 26 without a word because he was justifiably afraid he was going to get crippled because the Phoenix (that tells you how long ago he played) Cardinals O line wasn't good enough to keep him from getting hammered week in and week out. No one can help when the injury bug bites down hard, but a good line with good versatile depth is the key to success in my mind. Look at how Tannehill excelled when he went from a team with a poor O line (my beleaguered Dolphins) to a team with an excellent one with the Titans. The Jets need a better O line to give the plays what they need to succeed, whether it is LeFleur or not next year.

  7. In each position room we have something to be excited about OL, TE, WR, RB, , DL, DB, LB, only position room that is a big dud is QB. Special teams needs some work with punter and Braxton looks like he took a step backwards. I'm not sure any OC will be able to produce offense without lack of a running game and mediocre QBs. I believe we are in good shape if we keep the OC and get a competent QB. Things that we can also use is a FS, LT, RT. One other thing to note, although he plays hard, CJ is starting to miss a lot of tackles. And the entire dbacks needs to practice in the offseason how to get your head around on defense when the ball is in the air.

  8. Brutal to lose 6 straight can’t believe that, but if we’re honest we overachieved to start the year. Injuries and Qb absolutely killed any chance we had of doing any real damage this season. Was never going to be a Super Bowl year gotta build on what we have keep it all in place please woody

  9. So when the game is on the line grabbing somebodies jersey in the center of their back is now a horse collar? 45 Years I've been watching the NFL. That call was pathetic and the officials have to stop handing teams wins with horrendous calls like that!

  10. Well, we started with determining ZW was the guy. He's not (at least for now, but I'm out on him).
This rookie class is phenomenal, and I'm ready for some big storylines in the off-season

  11. 7 wins is a huge improvement. Still a disappointing ending to this season the OL has to be figured out. Skoronski should be highly considered in round 1 for OL flexibility. Derek Carr should be our QB

  12. 3:39 It’s hard for me to say we’re going in the right direction when we are now quarterbackless. That being said I think JD has taken the overall correct approach to team building. Hope we take another QB swing in the draft.

  13. What a sloppy game all around. Garrett Wilson is really the future of this offense along with Breece Hall. We just gotta get that QB situation solved and we’ll be fine. Can’t wait for the draft and free agency! Go Jets!!

  14. the jets offense is putrid but the refs??? this was as crooked a game as i have ever seen..horrible one sided calls as ive ever seen..this was some gamblers fix ..these regs should be beaten dragged thru the streets then fired

  15. This game was exactly what a expected a solid defensive game and a offense thats non existent its more than obvious what we need we need Frank Reich and a O line coach organization needs to make these moves if they don't they will clean house after next season

  16. I dont know when the jets will be good enough to compete for an afc east championship or a wild card. No o.c., a head coach who is not assertive, no q.b., terrible general manager.., same old jets.

  17. I've been a fan since forever, and was expecting a 7-10 season. Just didn't think they'd start out 7-4, raise my hopes, and then decide to lose every game thereafter.
I think it's time we all take a moment to think about how much time and effort we put into our fan-ship. I gotta stop spending so much precious time on this diversion, with the draft picks, and the free agency, then the season. It's eating up my life. Anyone out there feel me?

  19. What’s up Ian ! Love your content ! I wanted to ask if you can put out a video just on the positives of this past season? I feel like so many fans are very overwhelmed by the negative and what didn’t happen . Especially in these last 6 games which understandably was not great but I really believe with great intentionality we can find a great amount of positives and improvements if that’s put together on one video!

I know you would do a very good job with that. Go jets !

  20. As a Dolphin fun I have to say it, Jets are looking good. Probably need a new OC and definitely a new QB. Wilson probably was a pick for 2nd day draft, but someone at Jets saw that video from Wilson throwing that long pass and bought the BS. He is not ready and probably won't be ready next year. Make those 2 changes and you guys have a better chance of fighting the Bills than my Dolphins with our concussion happy QB.
