I thought I liked you guys until you were being all secretive and hush hush on your builds and shit. It’s a game. Some of us have not been so deep into this game and are just looking for some good ideas about builds. But your attitudes where shady. Unsubscribed.

I think a book would be the off hand item for magical enhancements
Tome would be awesome. I haven't used one since EQ, and that was the same lead game dev, so that'd make sense. HOWEVER, it's possible the video was made completely independent from AGS and they aren't actual weapons. Note there's also Hatchet + shield in there.
I don't think exp rate will change. I heard 1-20 is supposed to be quick, 20-30 got sped up a little. And then the rest I think was the same. I think I got to low 20s in 15 hours last test, which feels good for having 50+ hours played in the previous test.
So do you think there is a chance they surprise us with Void gauntlet on launch? That would be nice.
