  1. I remember when I first got into Yo-Kai Watch, my friends told me to back off because it was "just a lazy copy of Pokemon". After playing through all the main-line games localized, It became one of my favorite gaming series. It's light-hearted spirit, and it's ideas creates a series of games really fascinating, that no other game made me ever experience

  2. Yokai Watch is SO much fun. I still remember feeling surprised when i overheard a boy at a barber gush about how cool yokai watch was, and this was around the time of pokemon either 6th or 7th gen so it kind of hit a bit of a lull in its popularity. i hope it makes a comeback.

  4. Since you have a copy of YKW1, just bear in mind every single criticism and issue you end up having with it was fixed in YKW2 and YKW3. Don't go into it expecting every game to be the same as the first one since the 3DS sequels practically doubled in quantity and quality each time.
    Make sure to cross the street alot.

  8. Man I miss Yokai Watch, 3 and 4 were some of my favorite games, but I couldn’t really enjoy 4’s story because I don’t know Japanese. I really hope level-5 decides to bring it back to the west.

  9. If Yokai Watch 4 does get localized, I probably won't buy it. Mainly because I already purchased Yokai Watch 4 Pura Pura (plus plus) digitally. No, I don't understand 99% of the words, but still it's fun.
