There is a lot of copium and white knighting even from popular 14 streamers that are playing it. As I previously said on another video, the devs have the Blizzard mentality of “we are right and you are wrong.” A game that was delayed as many times as this game should not have these game breaking bugs. I feel when they fix a bug, they cross their fingers and hope that it doesn’t break something else. They should come out and admit they messed up, it would go a long way with players. They have their canned response of “we are working on it” but nothing concrete as to what they are doing, so different to Yoshi P. Us 14 players are spoiled.
That instant crash line reminds me of when IOS phones could be killed by sending them a text with some code in it. Really stupid mistakes
MMOs are decades old now, why are any developers still re-learning the lesson of "Don't trust the client"?

You should have seen Josh's yesterday stream…a guy in chat managed to lengthen Josh's stream because he insisted that in his opinion if Josh points out the flaws of the game that will make the game die instead of motivating the devs to fix it….and the argument went for like 2 hours
How does this happen in a game? In my opinion it's because there is no passion in devs anymore, they're just doing it for a job and money. Back in the old days, even 10 years ago we used to get quality games because devs had a passion for making a good game, yes there were still bugs but nothing really game breaking. It's the lack of passion that makes people not double check and triple check or test everything. It's a little saddening.

if u can inject code into the chat. this means this game is doing more than that it is. it also means its quiet easy to hack and says the game wasnt finished. just that says alot. new world devs did this for a reason. gpu's are dyin for a reason. these people that simp for new world are the same people that luv to run ur life. there pethetic people. do your worse xenosys…

do u know what this means. anyone can steal there code and what he doesnt say is anyone can mod the game. u can do so much that u dont even realize.
not only it can make people crash u can even fry gpu's bc make the game ask for hardware acceleration and power draw. even though the game was dong that.

in callum's video he also mentioned that you can "trick" the server on how much gold you have……..amazon….please fix ur game ok?, i enjoy the game, but when i see al these bugs and potential serious protection leaks…i just don't wanna play it
There is no two ways around this: the developers who designed this mess are absolutely incompetent and a shame to the profession. The kind of error shown in this video is something your expect from an intern, not from a professional.
As long as the client has the power over the game this will never end.
My thing is, what if you took an image file that already exists in the game, like say the Nuts one, replaced it with an image of your own, say something against Twitch's TOS like a dick, then renamed it to whatever the original image file was then have the code in the game draw upon that? Could you then immediately ruin the careers of every twitch streamer who just so happens to look at an item?
Played the alpha and it was basically a survival game. Tried the beta after being asked to and it still felt like a survival game. Seeing the game through YouTube videos about how it's failing and it still looks like a survival game to me with not much changed from the alpha. Glad I stayed away.
They treat their release of the game as just another round of beta testing. I reported a bunch of exploiters in wars that we lost more than 2 weeks ago now.. no answers, I then talk to 3 customer service reps, (first two just disconnected my discussions) and the third one I was online with for 40 minutes until they told me "you just need to be more patient about these things.", And then disconnected; they don't give a shit, so I'm not playing this game anymore. I didn't realize I paid full price for a beta test/early access game, seeing as it was marketed as "release" to me.
Wars have devolved nto an arms race of who can discover more/better bugs to use against the enemy..
These bugs dont really seem to matter cause the game is pulling 300k+ players 24/7 on Steam. Have to see how the numbers hold up
