  1. Just bought one z9 and magazine release button
Magazine locks back with one round left in magazine every time did it a lot
Was not drop free at first then got better shield arms magazine release was scratch the finish off one side. Customer Support sucks only email. Type everything out in email. They asked me to shoot with only 3 rounds in magazine and yes it still does it. Than they give me a link to a form type everything out again and they have to have my gun serial number a lot of fields that you have to complete no number to call just a big F U
They SUCK if you have to return anything

  2. My first Glock was a Glock 26. Great pistol but it was a little wide for my hand. When the Glock 43 was introduced, I purchased one because I fit my hand much better but the 6+1 capacity was concerning. The Shield Arms Z9 mags are a game changer because my Glock 43 is now a 9+1 pistol. I use a SiderLock trigger on both my Glocks so I have no fear of carrying a round in the chamber.

  3. pointless imo. I thought it would be flush. Might as well just get a g43x with that length. I have mine with s15s, and a sig p365 with 10 for a smaller carry. I love glock but G43 is old news, they need to make it hold 10-12 or its pointless

  4. I was going to get get this but now that you showed the silhouette, I realize how dumb this is. If this was a 10 round extension, it would be identical to the G43X in overall grip length. I'll stick with my G26 and G30.

  5. Why in the world does Glock not make their own?!?! Man, I love Glock but they don’t care or pay attention to what their customers want. The next gun better be something that competes with the Hellcat Pro

  6. If you look up that magazine it will work the only problem is you're going to have to change the magazine release and get a gunsmith to do it for you plus you have to pay for the extra part I haven't seen that part for sale anywhere I would just leave well enough alone otherwise Glock would have made magazines to hold another three or four rounds for the g43 but it's up to you I wouldn't want to take any chances and spend all that money

  7. I'm not overly impressed. I 3D printed a +2 extension for my factory Glock 43 magazine and I didn't have to buy a new mag or buy a new mag release. I know 3D printed stuff isn't as tough as factory made stuff, but polycarbonate is a very strong material that I don't think will ever break on me.

  8. I have a 43 and I love it though mainly cause I have small hands but I don’t have to sacrifice my bullet itself, carrying a less powerful like say a 22, I can carry the more reliable 9mm bullet and Glocks are top notch for their quality built.

  9. I bought a SA Z9 and metal mag catch combo when they came out, installed in my G43, and set it aside to take to the range. I was going to order two more Z9 mags so I had three, but they were not immediately available from SA. Once they become available, I took my G43 with SA Z9 mag and mag catch to the range to make sure it worked OK before ordering two more Z9 mags. I ran four full magazines through with nine rounds in each mag, and I had a failure to feed two times toward the end of the magazine using factory FMJ ammo. Two out of four magazines and failure to feed twice. A 50% failure rate. Obviously unacceptable. I sent back to SA requesting a refund, but they advised it had been more than 30 days. They said they tested my magazine and mag catch with no failures and send it back to me. I will not be installing back in my G43 as I'd rather have 6+1 with the factory mag and 100% reliability than 9 rounds in the Z9 with 50% reliability. I've had two G43's about six years since they came out, and never had a failure of any kind with them before trying the SA Z9. I will not be buying any more SA products.
