Well as far as I am concerned Emirates is the best airline I have been on; though as I am 82 and live in England and only have a U..K government mension it took a long time to save up from this year trip to Seychelles ( have been there twice before ) :
when changing at DBX I then had to use an Boeing 777, which has no comparison the the A380 in all aspects. It is a shame that Airbus stopped making A380 ; presume because the 4 engines consume hugh amount of fuel., Airbus say they are not considering a NEO engine, since the line that made A380 has stopped production some while ago. P.S I met my ex wife when I was on holiday in Seychelles ;; which was a .paradise island for me Something most people do not know is that a member of our Royal Family had their honeymoon on a : a private island within Seychelles group on islands..

Frankly I don't understand why Emirates rates so well. The economy class service on Gulf based airlines is not much better than any other long-haul carrier and is behind Singapore Airlines and the Japanese and Korean based carriers, especially JAL who's economy product equals most other airlines premium economy. Qatar's Q-suite and the China Airlines suite (which is basically the same product) are significantly better than Emirates business class.
