  1. That lake is gorgeous !!! The views are even more perfect because there’s nobody in sight lol so peaceful 💕 if you can put a metal loop on the rod on the bottom of the blinds on the top windows you could get a thin pole & put a hook on the top & just push the pole up & into the loop to pull the blinds down ! Don’t you just love those containers !!! I have a bunch of small glass ones I use for freezer meals & are my new favourite thing !

  2. I love the array of attachments you have for Pepper! Work smarter, not harder! If it was me, I would certainly want the mulcher attachment to make my roads through the woods because that would eliminate erosion and provide a nice base to walk and drive on.

  3. You both need to get those Bluetooth mic earphones when you hook up the trailer or other stuff. Sailors use them when dropping their anchors or up near the bow or mast dealing with their sails.

  4. ❤❤Hello friends!! Love it when you are on because I feel like I have company. I love your potting table. Also that it is made from a remnant of the old cabin. Melodi, I like your harvest too. Not sure what it is….new to me…..but it was lovely. I realize this is a year old or close but I want to tell you something my Mama told me when we were planting flowers 🌺 or other plants. If you already know this, which you probably do, don’t think I’m being bossy and forgive me. When you pull the dirt up around the plant 🌱 and water it pour the water in very slowly so the soil will absorb the water and get to the root rather than run off the top of the soil. So this is what we did and each evening when we watered her pretty glowers we watered them slowly. And she taught us to water them in the early morning or after the sun went down so the sun wouldn’t dry up the water before it soaked into the ground. She always planted red and white Impatiens on her front porch in rectangular flower pots.
I am envious of your natural lighting but I totally understand the glare of the sunshine. ☀️ I have to deal with that on a much smaller scale. I may have asked you this before but how did you all obtain Opal and how did you decide on her name? Names interest me. We had a bit of snow last night….i hate snow….and through the night it was oh so very cold! I have diabetic neuropathy and the bones in my old arthritic feet and toes (have rheumatoid arthritis) get so cold at times it causes pretty hard pain. I don’t have a Ryan so an electric blanket is my best friend when I am so cold. Going to order one tomorrow. Stay warm and healthy!! There’s so much respiratory sickness around here. My bro was sick over Christmas and had COVID with it. My niece, Lauren, had COVID at the beginning of the week. Prayers and positive thoughts headed your way….why? Because you two are just getting more special to me as time goes on. 🙏🏻💜

  5. Thank you Melodi, Ryan & Opal. Your hard work is really paying off since you first arrived and pitched your tent! Amazing! What a beautiful place. It was so delightful to see Opal who's the happiest girl to be w/you, every step of the way!

I love your flag! Thank you to Lily Bird (love the name) for designing your first flag that paints a perfect picture of your beautiful island homestead. I wish you continued success. I love you Opal, darling girl! 🏝🐕👫💓

  6. Ya know what, Melodi? I wish we could live close to you and be neighbors. Something tells me we could be good friends. I think Ryan and I could work well together on projects and we'd have someone to visit with.

  7. Great video. Pepper has so many attachments to make your lives easier to get things done. The grow table is beautiful. Looking forward to seeing the greenhouse. The blinds are great addition. Thank you for sharing.
