Absolutely insane the influence HK has had on Metroidvanias. Not to take away from these awesome games, they have their own essence, but damn.

I think you can go back and play some Blasphemous to check the new dlc and best boss I have seen in any metroidvania plus the true ending.
9YoS has huge potential to be best mv of 2022! I lauded the devs for how good this game looks, and they were very nice. They absolutely obliterated their Kickstarter campaign, and it shows within game. Can't wait for this one!
I'm just glad its finally dropping, it seems like these 2D games are taking forever to drop and a few HAVE release dates but just drop of the face of the Earth!!! It seems like I've been awaiting the release of Bushiden ,Gestalt and the Last Faith for forever!!!

I do like the aestethics of this game. Using Musik as main force of sanity, comfort in a magical tedi bear, armors that are elegent battle-dresses, all while exploring some eldritch high-elven Architecture! This is rad

Looks like one of these games where aesthetics defeated gameplay. Everything looks nice, the story may be good too, but there is not much of a game.
