NEW CLASSICS FACTION is BROKEN



Rimworld’s NEW FACTION known as the “Classics” adds new politics, settlements, technology, and scenarios plus topping it off with the “Neron Neolithic” storyteller! Today we explore the mechanics of this mod, accidentally break it (I swear guys, I wasn’t even my fault this time). As it turns out, recruiting senators to your side and getting given military grade weaponry by pacifists, is actually pretty good. Enjoy!

  1. You probably won't see me but I'd like to see how the one man army does again this time with cataphract warcaskets from vanilla pirates expanded, and a laser minigun from vanilla weapons expanded – laser

  2. It's not that you "Don't have access" to anything beyond pre-medieval tech, you just can research it yourself. You can still trade for tech goods, get them as rewards, and I think you can bring Rome forward through the tech tree once you get the final perk for uniting the Empire. You can't pick what you get, but I think the random thing can be any random thing.

  3. When I open the 'factions' tab I only get this screen which connects all my colonists and all the in-game factions with colored lines. I have no idea how I am supposed to get to the senator screen, can anyone help me?

  4. I like this mod, other than the fact that it can be a bit too cheesy at times. For example, Visiting a 100% relations locked colony is really fun in the endgame. Ransoming them back to their own faction after capturing them, stealing their gear and harvesting their organs without destroying their base is indeed… classic.
