Banksters: The Untouchable Bank (Global Finance Scandal Documentary) | Real Stories

From the director of ‘Goldman Sachs: The Bank that Rules the World’ comes a major new investigation into corruption at one of the world’s top financial institutions – HSBC.
If HSBC were a country, it would be the fifth world economic power. Founded during the golden age of the Opium trade to enable the British Empire to access the Chinese market, it has created a unique network to move dirty money around the world. From tax evasion to money laundering for the mafia and manipulation of currency, “this bank had done everything bad that a bank can possibly do.”
In 2012, HSBC nearly lost its license to operate in the US for laundering the money of the Mexican and Columbian drug cartels. Criminal charges were filed and HSBC’s executives hauled before a Senate committee. But George Osborne, UK’s then Chancellor of the Exchequer, wrote to his counterpart in America and to the Chairman of the Federal Reserve to plead for leniency. He claimed that if HSBC received a harsh punishment, it would have serious repercussions on the world’s financial and economic stability. The letter worked and HSBC was fined 2 billion euros. The equivalent of one month’s profits.
As the center of international finance moves to Asia, HSBC is in prime position. It is the most Chinese of Western banks and the most European of Chinese banks. Protected by London, blessed by Beijing, who would dare attack it?

  1. It is only when we take chances that our lives improve. If you think i n v e s t i n g is gambling, you're doing it wrong. The work involved requires planning and knowledge. Accept responsibility for your life. Know that it is you who will get you where you want to go, no one else.Your greatest asset is your earning ability.this trick has never failed

  2. Surely the only dirty money is laundered tax payer money. Being removed from the country it was originally extorted to a foreign country in whatever lega loophole they have or charitable organisation/ arms deal, cleaned up and distributed back to the parasitic elitists who extorted it in the first place. HSBC is clearly a dirty bank but I hold it in no less regard for the cartel customers it serves than for the government tax money cleans up

  6. Good doc, yet totally pointless… Apart from bringing a smile to my mouth. Let's be honest if I was to become rich, I would be looking for a bank like HSBC. And my guess is that I'm far from alone in this. All these do-gooders, what a waste of time and (no doubt) tax money… By the way I believe it was impressive how HSBC's own clients helped out in time of crisis (and made a nice profit as well). How different from what we do in the west…

  8. This is actually an old documentary. Now, ppl dislike hsbc for the opposite reason. It's difficult to open account. They asked a lot of questions and demand a lot of document from you. If your account activity does not match your personal profile, they will ask for reason and proof. If you do not comply, it will close your acct. Ppl who don't comply are not necessarily doing anything wrong, some people are just more protective of personal information.

  9. Emperor Xi ? Communist regime? You have just exposed this firm to be partial and political motivated and not worthy of trust. This is just another case of jealousy between American vs UK interests.

  10. The English word "untouchable" is used to describe both a class of world bankers and "dalit", a class of people living below the bottom in the Indian society. Both are "untouchable".

The bank itself is just like the church they get you in they get you trusting them then they use you for their own benefit and if you decide to step out of the mafia banking church System they will destroy you your character and everything else involved going so far as to try to make you not just a dissident but the mentally in capable dissident that’s how scared and paranoid they are that they’ll go that far to single human being bringing other people to destroy their families and their loved ones if you disagree to their lies yeah actually wonder who else had to put up with that in the Sanhedrin in the Pharisees and the Sadducees
