Just tested it, looks like Ayyubid fast castle is now 7:30 ish instead of 6:50 ish. Seems much more reasonable for opponents, but also doesn't seem like the FC is totally dead for Ayyubid.
I thought you wanted the English slightly buffed.
They buff otomans 2 times because of siege buffs kkkkkkkkk they are kidding right? Otomans was totally broken civ and now its even strong my god devs balance the game, its no that hard

The Golden Horn Tower nerf is pretty helpful. It brings the landmark down over 2 villagers worth of production, bringing it approximately close to the Grand Fulani Corral, which is still extremely strong.
Plus, it means the Byzantines don't have to have the rest of their stuff be terrible to counteract the overpowered landmark as much.
I think all the bad castle 🏯🏰 age landmarks should be buffed until they are similar in power to the nerfed Golden Horn Tower and Grand Fulani Corral, as the 2 landmarks are too strong. And it will be more fun 🥳 than nerfing them as that option would likely lead to players being starved of resources and have less to do.
50% damage reduction on limatanei was conceptually insane, and reducing it to 40% suggests the devs still don't understand why it was insane to begin with. Abbasid receiving more nerfs than Ottomans was definitely not what I was expecting either, given the huge nerf to Abba was six months ago at this point.
But a lot of good changes in the patch, in spite of that. I can understand they may be making bigger changes next patch, but i wish there had been, even temporarily, some smaller buffs to the big underperformers. And more downside adjustments to the top performers, including Ottomans and Rus (obviously among the variants we have to wait and see the impact of the changes that were added, I'm worried Byz are going to be pushed up too hard, and Ayy pushed down too hard, probably zhu xi is less broken but still too good, impossible to predict jeanne or OTD).
My problem with age 4 its that French/Jean Darc , China/zhu shi and otomans are 3 civs/variant that the devs never balance well, those 3 always its above all other civs, other civs you have to play good but those 3 if you follow guides and just do no brain rush you win, broken civs that the devs never correct, I can play a fair match against all civs but those 3 always see harder tham the others not fun games, i am platinum 3 on solo and diamond 1 om group, so I am not the hightest but not a bad player too, I just like a fair long game where you see who is the true good players
I can't wait for a demonstration of Byz and OotD!

Idea to buff Abbasids:
Abbasid should get a new civ bonus for stronger TCs. So that they are a little bit more like the old TCs. They are so reliant on those and what else do they have in feudal?
So more garrison space, (10?) tankier (30%?) and maybe more range (+1?).
I think Abbasid could be the TC civilization/the villager boom civ.
Ottoman trader 24g/min and capped to 10 traders = good?
Japanese buddhist monk, who can also buff etc 25g/min with no cap = shit?
There are so many nerfs in this patch that HRE might have been pasive buffed.
Temple of equality is kinda going in an interesting direction. But they clearly want to push this concept of bringing a relic to battle and it is ruining the landmark. Considering how precious of a long term benefit relics are, this will never be viable to give it up for a short term effect (that is, one that isn't completely OP).
Here's a crazy idea, add an ability to the temple of equality that says : "if a Buddhist monk is killed holding a relic, that relic is instantly brought back to nearest temple with an available relic slot. This effect has a X second cooldown" (X being pretty hefty, like 300 seconds), or something like that. This would allow to bring a relic risk-free to the front every X seconds, which would finally make this idea of bringing relics to battle viable.

I just want game to have better animations…I am a casual player so I don't know how much it impacts online play…I am comparing to aoe 2 and I just get that visual feedback in aoe 2 whereas in aoe 4 I miss it…wish this game has that…also some of the military buildings could be better proportioned… I know it is so many years since the game has launched but these changes may help in getting wider audience in my opinion
