Sliiiiiight correction. Itβs 7.5 liters not 7,500 liters ππ€¦ββοΈ
Thanks Jesse!!! I was an Anycubic fan until I started watching you, now it's all Elegoo all the time. Elegoo truly is superior in my experience. This new wash and cure is awesome I guess Black Friday is going to make me buy one.
Now if only they would give us the Jupiter one they promised during the Kickstarter
Sign me up for two! There you go with an extra bucket and dedicated workspace options for the wash step and cure step π
Hmmm… I was hoping it could hold the Jupiter build plate as well. Ahh well. Thanks for covering this Uncle Jessie.
Those led covers are fresno lenses. They help spread the light more uniformally.
Talk about a step backwards.
wow… your supports are HUGE man. they are massively thick.
Maaan that sucks u.u I literally just got the previous ones a couple of weeks ago, I had no idea there were newer versions π’
were s the sandwichs lol
Elegoo really trying to avoid ANY support for their Jupiter line.
(I only say that as a Kickstarter Jupiter owner. )
Perfect timing for this video, I pre-ordered this morning!
I don't know why they dont provide a smaller grated cage for tiny bits for printing miniatures. Nothing worse than diving in dirty metho to find heads and bits at the bottom of the vat
I like the removable plate. I hope they sell them separately because my cure station plate gets really sticky and gross after a few months. Occasionally there is alcohol mixed with resin inside the print that tends to leak out making the plate dirty.
I have the original smallest wash and cure and the spinner in the wash bucket broke within weeks
The sides of the basket are to big for smaller parts
I looked at this but I ecided to go with the Creality W-03 for 2 reasons. 1. It is bigger and seems to have more power on the washing and 2. I got it for $110 which is cheaper then the Elegoo
Great video ππ
My concerns are for the basket. As i print smaller miniatues (28mm etc), I expect a huge headache in repeatedly draining that tub to retreive tiny pieces that came loose/ slipped thru the basket.
Hi, what is the best way to dry the prints? Thanks
I've watched dozens of videos showing various wash and cure options for resin printing, and I still can't find info on the finer details about the process, especially the curing.
For one, what do you do with models that have interior holes, which will be shaded from the UV lamp regardless of orientation as the model rotates within the curing station? Does this just require multiple passes with the model placed differently each time in the hopes that all the interior space will eventually get coverage?
For another, and related to the previous, what about solid models? Surely the UV light can't always penetrate all the way into the model, even with translucent resin. Do you just wind up with a skin of cured resin, and uncured resin inside the model? I have seen examples of hollow models — with some kind of gap in the geometry to allow resin to drain from the interior — but what if you really need or want the model to be solid throughout? How does all that extra resin get cured?
It looks so cheap. When he was handling the tank, the base was wobbling….
Perfect timing for this video. I was looking at that v3 station, and the Saturn 4 and you just talked me into it.
It doesn't look like they have presets for the wash/cure time? I hate having to smash my + button 20 times to get it to be a 10 minute cure session :-/
So… I could buy this. Or a $5 bucket and a $10 strip of LEDs. Nice.
Only thing I'm worried about is the plastic basket..
Upon rewatching it, I never got to see what it looks like to switch out either top.
Where can I find this for $129.00 thanks
I have an anycubic photon mono x 6k. What's the plate compatibility like
are the fumes of this toxic, also is touching it toxic?
