For those unaware, game freak has produced approximately five pokémon games in as many years… With a studio half the size of Bethesda (180 people). Wrap your head around that for a minute and wonder why the quality has been going down on the last two games compared to like x and y or Sun and Moon.
They either need more people or TPC needs to back the hell off on their timelines.

That update was bs, I was in airplane mode and the game updated anyways I wasn't connected to the internet, was busting my butt to get to the point where I could do this. I had just finished all the gyms and was heading to finish the team star bit and progress but no game said update time. I find it completely idiotic to not have the option to revert updates, if a player desires to play in an older version, so what? What harm comes from that, they aren't playing with others so that would balance it out imo
I greatly enjoy making use of exploits and glitches, so I'll probably wait around until someone finds a new method, people are brilliant in that.

I love listening to people who don't know how programing works talk about patching. "I don't know why they fixed this one thing that only needed 1 line of code to fix, but didn't change this other thing where they would have to fundamentally change how that mechanic works"
I wouldn't get your hopes too high. It took them years to stop them from trading duplicated pokemon in sword and shield.
Heads up, if you put your duped legendary in your box, but don’t move it back to party before trading using a link code, it removes your duped legendary. So be careful.
You gotta love when people will do whatever it takes to ruin a game for a few views and couple extra dollars.

gawd thats some bs… since main game is so long and you cant get battle form to post game so those that haven’t done it cant do it no more. 🙄
If people's play experience is actually that choppy performance wise I feel sorry for them. I only restarted my game if it crashed (hasn't since the 2nd day) and with the new patch and have never seen patchy performance like that except in the Tagtree Thicket, and even there isn't isn't that choppy just noticeably laggy.
As for game being broken and shouldn't have been released yet, while I agree almost every game in the last decade has had glitches as well, it's really just the performance that makes the game 'broken'.
One of the thing that I’m waiting for is the azumarill huge power glitch in tera raids
Seeing the lags in this video i might also have a copy that runs smooth, i had 1 or 2 major fps drops in my whole 80h in game time and it usually doesn't lag, even if i never closed the game until the update.
Now i wonder, is it the game cardrige or copy or is it the console? I sadly have no friends with a switch to try it out…
There is another cool stuff is if you dont go online or got your online sub expired, you can lock an event as long you dont go to the global news, I did this to get the Eevees and now to keep farming charizard
I just want the frame rate fixed, I can't do some things in the game due to how horrible it is (shiny hunting on water is especially horrible) gives me nausea everytime
Yeah the dupe thing honestly makes it unfair, basically if you want to play the game normally buying vitamins etc you have to slave away for significant amounts of time per Pokémon while those who cheated can continue to do so and churn out competitive ready Pokémon like it’s nothing….
It seriously runs fine for me I’m surprised it’s such a huge issue
You can’t duplicate the old way, this box dupe glitch got discovered only a day or two before the patch that’s why they didn’t patch it
To be fair though, I felt that a lot of the performance issues came for me personally when I had the switch docked and playing on a screen, when I played it just handheld, the game ran much better (not great, but a lot better)
