Call me a skeptic, but I kinda feel that absent of any other "strange encounters" it'd be a little weird for someone in Philip's place to go along with that story.
Like, sure it's weird and might pique curiosity. But to this point I don't think there's been a single indication that Philip is indeed being hunted by something.
Really enjoyed the episode, by the way you can keep a large laptop battery with you fully of charges that you can transfer to the military battery used in your night vision goggles.
It's sad that it is very hard to get to know your character story without the Hacker perk, As you have to pay the traders for them to unlock the Electronics for you.
Also that Tannin Tea. It's the stuff that botanist know how to do. It has a weak antiseptic properties, boost your immune system when drunk and stacks more than 2 drops. maybe up to 4. And it can never be poisonous. AS water drawn from toxic places can have poison. and poison can not be boiled out.

At 13:18 Rycon really gambled with the life of his survivor…
I tried one time something similar in a run and i got shot in the chest with a high caliber bullet ending my run instantly…
Also river water is the most "safest" option to drink if you don't have a way to boil it…
It's still dangerous drinking it without boil it first, but it's less likely to get you sick…
Deers are hard to kill with out a range attack u.u
You can get more clean rags by boiling them over a fire in a can or a pot. Cans take up less space but you can only do 1 rag/water at a time…. pots let you do 3 water and rags but are big… if your tair any form of clothing up you get a lot of 100% dirty rags and some 100% strings regardless of the % of the clothing….. so you can just shred some clothing and get rags and clean them so you have a stack of 10 clean rags on you for medical reasons

I really recommend buying at least 2 units of tannin tea. It is a strong antiseptic and boosts your immune system when consumed, so it's good for fighting cholera and other infections.
Goddamn! This episode REALLY broadened up things for Philip! And not only this, we discovery that Philip – like some delinquent in another reality perhaps – is also being hunted…
Neo scavenger is lit!! you should totally play with the neo scavenger extended mod. it adds a bunch of stuff and makes the gameplay even more riveting

I love this game so much, I haven’t played in years but now that I’ve binged this series I’m gonna get back into it
You can theoretically infiltrate the Saginaw Mental Institute if you're wearing a gas mask (preferrab,y with working filters for safety reasons) and a blue frog sash (the password is "what password") but in-character Phillip doesn't have any reason to go in there yet. However I don't think you'll find that reason anymore given that you can't access your bank account in Detroit so just try it if you want.

Sadly Rycon already pass the chance to get the hot brick, which is nice when you left it at a camp near ATN
If you go to camp greyling you absolutely need to remember to get the id badge in the barracks and use it on the basement console before you plug in the Drives. I watched a guys 8+ cybernetic playthrough of this game just for him to forget to scan the ID card and then slowly starve/dehydrate to desk because of the glass that comes down. Also you’re gonna want actual prescription painkillers because the tinfoil cloak isn’t gonna stop every laser.

FMJ round are your average run of the mill ammo, JHP is Jacketed Hollow Points, if the game follows real world logic, the JHP rounds should do more soft tissue damage as they are designed to expand upon impact.
