  1. I am less than two minutes into the video and I am awed by that beautiful Bentley. they don't make 'em like that now. In quick succession, the same goes for two gorgeous Daimlers. I am "of" that era and therefore wonder what younger folk think of such elegance.

  2. Earlier Land Rovers seem to be falling in price – I think because there are a LOT more of them around than people realised and they're a bit less usable than you might hope at this point…

A usable S1 is more than a usable early Discovery but the former will be cheaper overall than the latter perhaps…

  4. I remember having an Action Man Ferret scout car when I was kid.
I remember a mate having an very early Disco – we went in it to play footie in Oldham I think – I remember sitting in the back thinking it was weird it was not a 4 door but I also thought it was clearly something significant.
    Henry is awesome.
In the 80's my uncle had a Vignale Gamine in his lockup garage – I have no idea what happened to it
The 90's and early 2000's were so wasteful weren't they? So many decent modes of transport scrapped with bags of life left in them.

  5. I was wondering when you were going to get to the SD1s, but there they were, right at the end! That right hand drive Bel Air must be a rare machine! Thanks for the tour Matt, I hope to make it next year

  6. My Grandfather owned a 51 Daimler Conquest drophead coupe from new, white/red body.
I can remember as a young kid trapping my fingers in the soft top as it was being folded,,, still have the 2 scars to prove it.
The car was in our family until 1972 when my grandfather passed.
Last time I saw the car, it was in absolutely stunning condition and being used for weddings/private hire.
This has rejuvinated many happy memories

  8. You made us wait till 1.37.00 to see our Seat Terra camper and Panda 4×4 but it was worth it to know you appreciated them. The camper was Panda based so sort of qualified to be on the Fiat stand.
Great to watch your video as we weren’t able to get around the whole show ourselves. 👍
