  1. Rukh, the first Noggri we see in canon is also a very important character in the story of Thrawn from legends, it was so cool seeing him in Rebels.

Rukh is both the bodyguard and personal assassin of Thrawn, and again VERY important for Thrawn''s life in Rebels, making it kind of sad what happens to him on this show (if you know the Legends' story)

  2. Holden and Jenn, I believe you watched Bad Batch. You might want to revisit the first episode of season 1. The Bad Batch filled in Kanan's back story. Showing him and his former master at the time of Order 66.
If you remember when Kanan was captured and the Inquisitor was torturing him for information. He alluded to Kanan's master telling him to run.
The first episode of Bad Batch shows that scene.
Looking forward to you finishing the final half of the season. I'll assume you're going to continue with Ahsoka.

  3. Please you two need to check out the A New Dawn Audiobook its really short. Or at least the Kanan: The Last Padawan 12 issue comic. Detailing the life of Caleb Dume and how he became Kanan Jarrus.

  4. So in Star Wars there are certain species that are more naturally in-tuned with the force. Like the Loth wolf, but all animal species connected to the force are extremely rare.

  5. Now that his name has been revealed I can talk about Caleb Dume. Yes, I've seen his name dropped in the comments before, but I don't give spoilers. In the episode of Clone Wars/Revenge of the Sith (is an after thought), during a War Metting with Yoda, Mace Windu, Plo Koon, Aayla Secura, Commander Bly, Ki-Adi-Mundi, and Commander Bacara, Caleb Dume and his Master Depa Billaba were also attendance. We've also seen how he escaped Order 66, but I don't recall you reacting to that.

  6. If i recall "old canon" correctly both the defender and vaders personal tie fighter (the one with the bent wings he used in "a new hope" – the prototype for a tie advance) were project that were to expensive for the emperor and they went against the tarkin doktrin (the stardestroyer is the base for all power – TIEs are just there for point defence, and lacking hyperdrives/shields makes it difficult/impossiblke for pilots to defect and live with them) – both had hyperdrives and shields making them atleast as good as X-wings, and since they are smaller and faster/more agile probably better if you could have good enough pilots handeling them (just rewatch what vader did ALONE in the begining of season 2 against 6 or so A-wings, the ghost and a corvette)

  7. The cool thing about these episodes of rebels, is because the showcase and canonized several things from Star Wars Empire at War. The tie defender I believe we’ve already seen, but Noghri assassins like Rook was cool to see.
