  2. A few helpful hints…

If mobs can't see you, they won't fire arrows or crossbows at you from outside your fence, so building a proper wall around your base will stop that. Also, there are areas of your base where you don't have any torches. At night these spots are dark enough that they can spawn mobs, so find them and light them up to stop the aggravation.

The mechanics of where mobs can spawn… on flat level ground if you place a torch the light level of the block underneath it is 15. The light level of the blocks near that torch drop 1 point each block away from the torch it is. Any blocks that has a light level of 0 can spawn hostile mobs. During the day any block exposed to sunlight will have a light level of 15 and any blocks next to this under an over hang will drop by 1 point each block away from sunlight. So if you dig a tunnel, every 14 blocks you'll need a torch to keep mobs from spawning in your mines.

Other ways to stop mobs from spawning, mobs can only spawn on full blocks. Blocks that have objects placed on them that don't completely fill the cube can't spawn mobs. Some of these blocks are farm land, walking paths, carpets, half slabs, fences, chests, stairs, etc. Remember if it is a full block mobs can spawn on it, if it's a partial block they can't. Also transparent blocks like glass can't spawn mobs.

    Hope this helps.

  3. In harvesting a sugarcane you don't need to break all of that just break the second layer because it will grow again! Then try to attempt to make a enchanting table and set-up then enchant your tools and even your armour so you have a better tools/armour.

  4. You can actually trade with the villager for your wheat. Now your villager is a leather worker but breaking the cauldron and replacing it with the composter will thrun him into a farmer.
Farmers have these following trades. You can sell
20wheat or 22carrots or 22potatos for one emerald
4pumpkins or 4watermelon for one emerald
You can also buy 6bread or 1cake for one emerald
    Also 3emeralds for 4golden carrots

  5. Helpful hint: you can extend the longevity of your tools if you plant and harvest with your bare hands. So far as I'm aware, the only crop you need a tool to harvest is the melon, and even then only if you want to harvest one whole (you'd need a tool enchanted with Silk Touch)

  6. Loving your castle's progress in the streams, and your dealing with that rescued villager was like… "Yes, finally he understands the pain of working with Villagers" xD Even when you know exactly what do to and how to get them to do what you want, manipulating them into being your uh 'indentured servants' , they're still NOTHING BUT PURE FRUSTRATION 😀

  7. Also Dee, think real world mechanics here for farming: take and replant DAILY. You need to breed Christopher with his friend using potatoes . Put barrels outside to hold your farm resources. They look better and saves on chests. And lastly, when taking bamboo and sugar cane remove the top parts but not the last one close to the ground. When you leave it they auto regrow and you can bonemeal them to grow faster.

  8. Again, great vid and so funny. You have to stop feeding those chickens lol and you don’t meet to chop all the sugar down every time, just the top 2/3 leave the bottom bit to regrow. Absolutely loving this series, look forward to every episode

  9. Make some half slab wood blocks and place them in the water holes in your crop fields.. just the top half of the water hole. Then place torches on them. Don't worry about the wood deleting the water because the slab will become waterlogged.
This way, you won't step in the holes of water, and the torchlight helps your crops grow faster because of the light when the sun is not out.
Great content! I'm glad you are enjoying this "Satisfying game" 😊
