  1. What does "paying AMD tax" even mean? I'm very happy with my 7800XT. And the Nvidia equivalent for that same card is a couple hundreds more which is not worth it. Also, If Nvidia thinks i'm gonna pay them $1.5-2k for their 4090 just to have better fps they can suck my D. THere's no bigger "tax" than overpaying Nvidia.

  2. Love the art style. I couldn't get into the loop though. I'm a souls vet, so it being hard isn't the issue. It felt very unresponsive. Probably my pc though. I'll check back in every few months like I did with BG3. I think it'll be a great game when it's finished.

  3. Didnt hear you address the early access much as far as how long the game is now as far as how many hours of content and how big the areas are its just something alot of ppl want to know before they spend 40$ for early access because Early Access could mean you're still working on bugs and things like Cosmetics but the whole games there or it could be they're still working on the game as a whole but some sections are there which I know they said there's only some areas for now just wondering if it's enough content to justify getting

  4. I played the first few hours also with very few issues. Some minor skipping and frame drop but nothing game breaking or even really annoying yet. Not maintaining 60fps, but seldom dropping below mid 50fps. Most skipping I've seen was during the first in game cinematic. Running 1080 on laptop with 6BG 4050 & i5-12450 16GBram. All default settings. There is quite a bit of load time on startup though, I thought it crashed on 1st launch but it just took several minutes.

  5. The game is still in Early Access. I will use Baldur’s Gate 3 as an example of what the game was in EA for what it is now. A HUGE drastic difference. I have no doubt that the developers of Ori will deliver with No Rest For The Wicked, which is why I am supporting it much like I supported BG3 in it’s EA. The game has HUGE potential to be a very solid title.

  7. 8:47 I have 4070ti and I have no* problem with performans. 4k maximum quality native ~50fps, I use render scaling but there is no seen differences but now I have stable 60fps with v-sync.
    * – sometimes game starts dropping frames, but relogging helps a lot, just go to main menu and return back to the game

  8. I don't like the character models, but the game is beautiful. Is it something I would get? Not really. Looks like a game I've seen hundreds of times. If this game is more expensive at full release, even less. Probably will get it at a heavy discount.

  9. The game has a hidden easy mode/ difficulty button, that is not available at the menu or when you start like other games. Choosing right stats and gear makes the game easy just like Elden ring or dragon souls. I’m also lvl 15 or 16 but I have 230hp. Each hit heals me7-8 hp , each kill heals me like 23. I also have a huge 48 kg sword that has insane range and damage and almost can’t be interpreted, you can pretty much trade with all the enemies and still be full hp at the end of the fight. Had the most fun in a while.

  10. Hey Rurikhan, when I watch many other reviewers, It seems like they are too worried about wordy poetry. After a 15-20 minute video, I feel like I have barely learned anything useful about the game I'm interested in purchasing, but with your reviews, I always get a good sense of what I'm in for. You are a gamer, and you not only understand the information that you need to convey to us, but it's also enjoyable to watch. I appreciate that man. I hope things are going well for you. God bless

  11. Damn you Rurikhan you sold the game …. now im gonna buy it, i mean I like monster hunter, and darik souls or elden ring games, i like isometric view and this art style and really gives me Vanillaware vibes like dragon's crown vibe you know don't you see it?. anyhow yeah the game looks good and the combat from what u said and others seems to be great and that is good cause that is what the crux of the game.. its interesting it has some survival stuff to it even though im not into that .. seems kind of unique for this type of game… yeah i will buy it .. i hope my oled steam deck can run it cause this game be great for the steam deck.

  12. Totally agree. Awesome game. I am having tons of fun. But yeah, performance and inventory needs to be adressed the most. Please let the vendors know what is in our chests. One tip: try to move stuff from the rookery to your own chests as soon as possible.

  13. Weird.

    4070, i5 13400. 32 ram, 2560×1080.

No issues…yet. Though I've just started, could be early game blessings about to abruptly change.

Thankfully I'm from a subsidized region, so less of a hit. Costs $18 down here.

  14. i understand what you trying to say but your severly misunderstanding why people say its diablo dark souls.

the looting / build crafting and moment to moment gameplay is basically diablo 2 ish but very PoE. the combat and difficulty is souls like yes but its NOT a souls like. its basically diablo souls. even the devs themselves said they target audience diablo players. also diablo was the first arpg so yes when people think arpg they think diablo cause it created the genre

  15. So the 25 hours of playtime according to the devs, are those for the early access version or the full release? Because it sounds a little short when something like farming runs through already explored areas are an expected thing to do.
Or is that a completion time for people who ignore everything and just b-line it to the next piece of main content, just like how Lords of the Fallen had 35 hours of playtime listed but it's more like 80+ hours for someone who explores optional content.

  16. Performance for me was not to bad and very much playable, I have frame drops at certain times, for me the performance is being blown up to more than it is, and I'm running a 3060ti. It definitely needs work but it's better than most games that recently launched, runs better than DD2.
