  1. I’m sorry this turned into a shitty situation, guys. Everyone hurt in this situation does not deserve any of this (except Don.) You guys have made me smile for years and I can’t thank you enough. Good luck with everything, and I hope it gets better soon ❤

  2. Updog should not seek litigation from YouTube fans. Whatever happened happened. Bring it to court.

And anyone reading this is stupid for thinking any of this involves me, you, and your peanut gallery.

  3. I hate to say this but i agree, i dont think you are deserving of your platform right now. I think daniel being brought into this whole situation is really fucked up, and i feel you on that aspect. I dont think you are a bad person. I personally cant look past you using your platform to accept nudes from fans though.

  4. In general, i dont see anything wrong with Youtubers having a relationship with a fan. If they are a grown ass adult they can make their own decisions. Like I wouldn't fuck Ellen Degenerate but id let Christina Aguilera step on me any day of the week. It's not a power dynamic, Ryan is just funny and attractive. And nobody has a problem with celebrities and rockstars fucking fans which is just kinda funny to me. Like its unfortunate what happened to lex but the shit shes said has made it really hard to sympathise with her. Bringing up a suiside victim that she didn't even know just doesn't sit right wiht me…

  5. Ryan, NOBODY deserves their platform. Everyone acting like they'd have handled their position any better than you are lying to themselves. Yes, it was shitty, but what you did should have never been brought to the public because that's YOUR personal life. It's not your job to be perfect, it's your job to entertain, and you deliver on that.. Nobody's perfect and everyone has done some shit they regret, but those mistakes don't define you as a person; how you reflect on and learn / react from those mistakes ultimately define you. I can understand and fully support your decision to step down, especially given the circumstances, but please make sure you're doing it for the right reasons. Because you and Matt have fostered such a tight-knit community, having people turn their backs on you and not wanting to hear your side is going to hit a lot harder than if y'all had a much bigger following. Just understand that a lot of us, while we don't condone your actions, still love seeing and hearing from you, and we fully support you in everything that you do.

Also, while I agree you and Matt mishandled Lex's situation, it's not completely fair to have the blame pinned on you guys, especially considering how complicated and shocking something like this would be for pretty much anyone. I'm not saying this makes it okay, but a lot of people probably wouldn't have handled it much better if they were put in the same situation. Honestly, that's all this should have been about anyhow; having everything else brought in is just petty and foul, and I wish everyone involved was criticized as harshly as they're criticizing you and Matt.

I hope this isn't goodbye, but if it is, I hope things work out better for you in the future, and you can at least take this situation and learn from it, but it seems as though you already have. See you around, man, and thanks for making my life just a little bit better with the content you and Matt put out over the years.

  6. I lived with someone who would attempt suicide regularly, but I can tell you we both made jokes about it and our depression in the darkest of ways. People who haven't experienced an abundance of real trauma can't understand what we have to do in order to cope. You have to just start joking about certain things so the pain doesn't eat you alive. Never feel ashamed of dealing with trauma in your way. Especially if it was something Daniel would have been okay with.

I'm sorry for the Victim, and I'm sorry for how careless people can be with their words towards you all, and I'm sorry if I'm speaking out of turn.

  7. This is stupid. Why is everything so silly in this timeline. I'm gonna just go back to 2007 and play PS3 and Xbox 360 games in a small trailer home till Putin proves to me we don't deserve to be saved. If I'm not vaporized in a blast hotter than the surface of the sun, bury me with some taquitos and a bottle of honey mustard. Oh and a diet Dr Pepper or equally pathetic beverage.

  8. Here from Chud, just subbed.

It's pretty obvious that this is just a full out assult on supermega where these chucky giga cheese people ruin a man's life with a retrospective assult claim; my Josh osh bagosh it's crazy.

Also, I'm expecting the puppy murder videos soon according to the epitomized evil that is supermega.

Oh and justice for giga rapper DJ Don. I get in current year woman = honest angel and know you almost have up kick Don, but I want my complimentary gag for my bulimia diet – even though Don stops when a garggle stop which definitely isn't my style.

  10. You guys are genuinely some of the most talented, creative, and hard working people on this platform. This witch hunt is ridiculous and pathetic. Just please don't give up, I love you guys. ❤

  11. I do wish Ryan was a bit more specific about the mishandling of his platform and what he did wrong… I feel like Matt’s video was a lot more in-depth and substantial comparatively. I dont know specifically what Ryan did but I get the gist and think this response was kind of underdeveloped and vague. I feel like this sort of thing requires specifics (within reason, ofc) to be discussed and unpacked. Idk I just don’t think this did a very good job explaining his perspective or feelings about the situation.

  12. Still a SuperMega fan, you guys are just as human as the rest of us and deserve an equal chance to be heard and forgiven, as you handled this aftermath head on with accountability I am happy to see this situation weeding itself out and hopefully with time settling so that you and everyone involved may find peace. Love you two, love Lex and Rav, and Id love to see more content from y’all when you are rested and ready.

  13. I commented when these videos were first dropped and got attacked by some rude people who think everyone that has experienced SA, should think alike.

I've watched all 3 videos, Matt's, Ryan's, and Lex's. First and foremost as a survivor myself I appreciate you boys waiting to say what happened until Lex was ready. I've had my story be told without my consent and it is incredibly re-traumatizing.

Obviously there were things done wrong and bad decisions were made. I do believe Lex 100%. She is allowed to feel how she feels about her experience because nobody was traumatized the way she was and then had to experience what she did.

I also see how this could be an incredibly difficult situation to traverse. You are being lied to and manipulated by Don and probably hoping your friend isn't an awful person and that this was a miscommunication in the bedroom.

Your personal lives shouldn't have been brought into this but it has and it sucks. I do hope you guys are able to come through this together and still be friends on the other side.

From a long time fan that was introduced to you by my then boyfriend and now husband. We did some engagement pictures wearing your merch! We can't imagine YouTube without our boys 💔
