D'jew lift it more than stock? Why'dit come apart? I had a professor in auto tech school say ' keep it stock, keep it clean & drive it." He used to say " lf you change or modify anything you become the engineer,." Later on I worked with engineers in GM at one of their proving grounds. I found out there are several departments within vehicle development where ideas get scrutinized then put into prototype for test (that's what I did; test, ben tested tough ha!) and evaluation. I was a strong Mopar enthusiast and advocate from way early on in my life, In fact my business and email name is MOPARBENS. I did testing at GM's proving ground for 36yrs as my last job. One thing I can say is there is a lot more to engineering something on a vehicle than 1 single engineer making decisions. Even the lead engineer is not all knowing. It takes a team to produce great equipment. So my old teacher (also weekend cop on Woodward Avenue) was partly right but meant well. 55yrs later I still don't like how he came across. I raced my GTX on Woodward so I was leary of him knowing me. But I digress:. Mopars were the ultimate, head and shoulders above all the rest including brand X but to be that great it took hoards of outstang people. If you change something you have to realize and understand what I just said. I use yahoo email so if you put my name in front of the at sign on yahoo and dot com you can reach me. ben/ michigan
