My NEW ALTOZ TRX766 Zero Turn Mower on Tracks | Machine Overview
In this video I go to D&L Equipment in Kensett Iowa to pickup my NEW Altoz TRX766 Zero Turn Mower on Tracks.
I have been looking for a zero turn mower to speed up the time it takes to mow my yard which is about 4.5 acres. I have a few slopes and was told the track mowers do really good on slopes and it was something a little different and looked heavy built.
As I am posting this video I have only mowed my yard one time but really like everything about it. It definitely sped up my mowing time and did a nice job mowing. I felt turning on the ends it was very easy on the turf below and the machine rides and handles very nicely. Overall I think this is a great machine.

I’ve been wanting an Altoz for awhile. I have about 5 acres at my house that’s hilly and 2 acres at my father in laws that’s also hilly that I mow with a wheeled zero turn and let’s just say it can get exciting. Thanks for sharing Mike
Congratulations Mike.
Have been doing lawn care for last 20 years would love a z with tracks. But can’t justify the cost. Good looking machine but no dealership with in 500 miles of me at the moment
11:45 He's mowing on King Kai's planet from Dragonball Z. Lmao!
Hmm… From 10:47–10:57 looks like good practice for your next rice harvest video!
How is the suspension on that?
I hate mowing I would pasture to the back door if the wife would let me. I would mow hay all day but then that is just me.
It got to the job done quickly!!! 😮😅
That mower looks sweet, congratulations ! I have a John Deere ZTR that I bought new about 8 years ago and it runs great, the only negative on it was the front tires got constant flats so I replaced my front air tires with solid rubber tires and they absolutely work great. ZTR's can tear up the yard a bit on really tight turns but if you round out the turns its not an issue for me. —- Looks like maybe you need to put in a piece of Tile drainage pipe in that low area of the yard and run it to the ditch to help keep the yard drained.
Very nice mower Mike great video
Really Purdy Mike!
nice mower! that 1206 would be a nice addition also!
Well at least you loaded it on a trailer and didn't try to do a modern spin of The Straight Story
Haulin the mail !
Nice mower ,saw them at the wv state fair. You need hay equipment for that average
Nice 💯%
I really enjoy your videos, but maybe you can answer a question for me. Why are so many small towns named after their water towers? 😂
That's built at my hometown. I remember when the owner of the company put a small block Chevy 400 with a Holley 1150 double pumper carb in a 1974 Chevy Vega. His brother owns the Mattrack company.
I mow for a living. Your grass is so thick the tracks don't be an issue except for around the house more than likely. If it is an issue, you just might need to alternate where your tracks run while mowing around the house. Like you might want to push mow along the house so you can move your tracks over 2 ft for a couple mowings. Also alternate your direction and ruts at the end of the passes won't be a big deal. You will only scrape the grass blade off, not the roots.
Great mower. Love the demonstration of what the mower does. My only advice as a lawn care guy is always keep an extra set of belts laying around for the deck and drive, but the machine is brand new shouldn't have a problem for awhile.
Always enjoyed going past their lot to see nice tractors plus avoid the southbound scale on 35, seen lots of old iron sitting there
Very nice lawnmower Mike and I have a question does versatile own the green tractor I cannot pronounce the name of it for the life of me sorry
That’s how I was when I got my first zero turn it used to take me about three hours on my regular John Deere riding mower , knocked that time down to like half and when I was done I wished I still had more to do
Incredibly cool equipment that you want to work on all the time! At first, I thought that the caterpillars would damage the lawn. But the fears were in vain.
Mike great video . When I was mowing 22 acres each week . I used 2 JD zero turn mowers one with the deck in the front and the other one had a Deck underneath like the one you have . I used the one with deck in front to get closer to the grave stones and the other for larger areas of course I used a weedeater to trim around the stones which I did first . I just spun around and usually mowed that way & Yes they are fast due the zero turn radius Sorry for the paragraph
Nice brother
Seeing those cut strips made me wonder if you were running a a WASS line for a minute, but I didn’t see a globe. Great looking machine.
Nice unit!
Nice. I own the TSX stand on Altoz and I have really enjoyed it the last three years. It's made me a good amount of money
Great video Mike! That was funny, it mowed it too fast!! Don't you hate getting equipment like that?! lol!! I think the receiver hitch is a good idea. If you have a small trailer you want to tow, it would be great for that. You sure dirtied her up mowing! Good stuff Mike.
Pretty cool, Mike !
C'mon…….no 3pt n pto??
Nice yard! I like the new mower, if I ever got to Dark County I would love to take it for a spin. We must be about the same as you here in N Utah, I'm headed out to mow my lawn for the first time today. We are not quite as green as you are but I bet your son is.
If you have wet land I understand.
We had them at my local dealer.
Priced at 28 K
I choked.
They sold very little and now sell none.
Stopped carrying the brand.
You can come over a mow my yard, might need to wait for the water to recede first as it got really wet today like your has.
I like your Mower. Something not everyone has.
