Just rambling about the game I am most looking forward for this year, Lightning Strikes! from Compass Games, designed by Dave Lelacheur. Looks to be a momentous entry in the World in Flames family. I can’t wait.

Almost 3 minutes in and I don't know what this game is. Bottom Line UP Front. I don't have time to watch a 40 minute video on a subject I may or may not be interested in. I have played wargames since 1977. I love wargames, but I haven't the time to waste watching a bunch of rambling.
I recall seeing this on Compass Games's preorder page and although the premise was interesting I've assumed it's a very high level game. Somehow I've missed the connection to WiF completely. Now it's definitely on my radar😁

This looks really good. Would have been great to see this go from 1900's to 2000's. Got my preorder anyway. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
Interesting. I hope the rules are more clear than the blitz rules. I struggled a bit with them. I need to try them out again.
