  1. Love the Ralliart Magna ❀️ – Brings back the memory of the first car I purchased which was TJ Solara blue and silver Magna. It was an awesome vehicle πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

  2. That's awesome man, really good to see the the car on the road.

I think you are absolutely right about the pleasures of driving a manual car that doesn't do warp speed. I too drive a turbo Barra powered Ford and love it, but every now and then I jump into my wife's manual RX8. Low hp, not that quick, but handles well and is just fun to drive.

Enjoy the car mate, fix those niggling things over time. Paint will top the car off, but I'd imagine that would be big bucks ….

  3. the sportwagon numbers from mitsi i sent you that file, they had to be ordered from the dealer, i only ever found 1 x black one for sale , i still am looking for a mawson white s wagon, also i disagree that RA is worth 12.5 – 15k rego and rwc in any state

  4. The TJ was probably the peak of the Magnas. The front end just had a subtle hint of aggression, then they totally stuffed it with the TL/TW. It continued to get worse with the 380. I really think Mitsubishi Aust missed the bus with the 380. Apart from its blandness, it was a sedan only. Everyone knows MMA could do a good wagon, even with 4wd, just when everyone was going towards SUV/soft roaders. If they had done a slightly raised 4wd wagon version if the 380, it could have sold well. If they went further with a diesel V6 4wd/AWD version, and given it the Luxo treatment, it would have been a serious competitor for the likes of VW Passat 4-motion/Audi Quattro wagons for about 20 to 30k less. Ford’s Territory was petrol only and Holden had the horrendous Adventra with a fuel guzzling V8. Had MMA made that car, its main competitors would be the VW/Audi at quite a price premium, actually MMA could have created a whole new market segment, all for itself.

  5. mate has a manual magna 'sports' and I've had an auto magna, really miss these cars, and still check the market for a manual magna every so often. I've brought an AU to play with in the mean time, which, quite enjoyable but also needs a lot of work. kind of brought it just because i knew i had a treasure trove of content online for it, including all your previous vids mate. keep it up.

  6. Congrats on getting the car on the road and happy birthday! Really would be an uplifting surprise and one that you’ve earned. Nothing like rowing through the gears getting a less powerful machine going fast, so much more fun.

Nice little bit at the end there, no more wondering what happened to the ordinary taillights πŸ˜‚

  7. Loved the build Sean, been sitting quietly and enjoying the build from the 1st episode of this.
Always had a sweet spot for the TJ after my mate bought one and was chopping 5ltrs for days.
Looking forward to the complete outcome! Fuck the haters! πŸ‘ŒπŸ»βœŠπŸ»

  8. The Magna has turned out really nice, your attention to detail has paid off. As for any negative comments, any comment is a comment the Algorithm does not know the difference between positive or negative comment . So that is good for the Youtube Algorithm. So even a negative comment is a positive for your channel, pushing you up the list. I have been a mechanic for 37 years still going, i think your channel is really good keep up the great work.

  9. I've got a magna atm which was also my first car and I've fallen in love with them. Watching this series to see this ralliart be able to stretch its legs on the road once again gives me hope of one day being able to have my own. You're an inspiration Sean, well done πŸ‘

  10. My mum had one of these and I always felt the throttle was too sensitive. Kind of like you were saying in the lower gears it was pretty touchy.
I kind of want one now after seeing this lol.

  12. I had a manual TH sports as my 2nd car and loved it.

I remember picking it because it was Aussie built and as far as I could tell felt like a far superior build to anything else.

Now your videos are making me want to re live those days by finding another one!

I think a really clean TJ VRX in manual would be very hard to pass up
