With the New Year upon us, I wanted to wrap up which cozy games I was underwhelmed with over the course of 2023. A few of these games aren’t in full release so are subject to change, and the others just didn’t resound with me whatsoever.

I agree with your takes on these games. Fae Farm was such a big disappointment for me too.
I'd also thought that One Lonely Outpost was going to be fun but I gave up on the demo really quickly. I found it really childish.
I'm enjoying Coral Island and have not had many issues with it at all. I'm on PC and that may be an advantage. Thanks for telling me what to avoid it all helps when you have a limited budget. Have you looked at The Witch of Fern Island, I've held off so far but it seems that the developers are working to fix some of the initial criticisms.
I had One Lonely Outpost on my wish list but actually took it off just before Christmas. Now I'm glad I did. Only one I don't agree with is Fae Farm. I probably have around 50 hours in 😅 if not more. 😊
I agree with Fae Farm. Should be called Fae Mine. Was so disappointed in that game, especially for the price.
about Coral Island, when they released 1.0 I was expecting the full game to be released without many bugs, I was a bit disappointed to know certain areas are still to be released in the game such as the Savannah and all that, but what kinda hurt me with it is how… Badly optimized it is, and how the core gameplay has so many glitches and mini issues. I wasn't expecting that to happen, but I had a fair share of bugs in the game, some of them made me just quit because it wasn't worth it.
The worst bug there so far for me is the Collectors for sprinklers, they literally make the game go down to 2 FPS, it's very badly optimized. That and marriage being incomplete so far. Dating too actually.
But it is too, my favorite cozy game of 2023.
My favorite is my time at sandrock. Its amazing honestly, even my husband agrees and he usually dislikes cozy games.
