This isn't a Fourth of July video because of the "in America" line, it's because a cowardly loser manipulating a war for his own gain is a perfect fit for the U.S. military.
Related to the ending lf the video, Engage having Nelucce executed in a cutscene was the biggest story mistake. He had potential to be another great cowardly villain, and they squandered it.
Man, Kempf is a piece of shit! I killed him with a bolting crit from Olwen on my last playthrough of Thracia and absolutely cracked up —I was just trying to goad him out of position while also getting some of his health down. Nope! His ass got fried
Shoutouts to New Theory of Thracia for making Kempf not only playable but making him the only way to Recruit Reinhardt, the American hero is truly based.
You know what the best part about Kempf is? The chapter after he dies, his superior will tell his own superior that Kempf died because he refused to follow his superior's plan.
A plan that was terrible, and a plan that he can very, very easily die obeying.
This narcissistic, buck-passing dumbass dies following the orders of an even bigger narcissistic, buck-passing dumbass.
AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! F-ire Emblem-uck yeah!!!!!!!!! I had no idea he was such a fun villain, that's so hilarious honestly! … So like, I played this game a loooong time ago when the only translation patch was a buggy mess, wound up just using Japanese with a weapon guide so most of the story unfortunately flew over my head. This makes me wanna revisit it…. this patch is…. so glitchless… H-how long was I gone..
I stole all his weapons in Chapter 16 with Tina, and he ran away off the map like a little bitch, never to be seen again. All of his forces also ran after him and left the map.
Probably one of my favorite emergent story moments in any game ever.
I don't know if this is AI unique to him, because I've seen other enemies borrow from each other or go shopping if all their weapons are stolen. If he does have unique escape AI, then that's a freaking hilarious detail.
As someone who finally played Thracia last month, I ended up going the B route and thinking at one point "I'm getting kinda close to the end and Kempf hasn't shown up again I wonder what that's about?" Only to look it up to find out he's just not showing up for again my run. Although knowing my run, I would have probably just had Lifis steal all his items if he had shown up again because having Lifis get to 19 con made me too much of a klepto. I didn't even need half the stuff he took but disarming enemies was funny.
Both routes should be playable at the same time. Splitting the army and playing both routes with whichever group of units you picked for each route only being deployable on their respective side of castlel leonster in chapter 18 would be really cool. Also forcing the player to select who will go south to Ulster before seeing the chapter 19 map would be good. It would probably require Leif to be force deployed to the B route because of Miranda but regardless you'd need someone to play Lord for the other route and that likely means making another character a lose condition prior to the route split. Best option gameplay-wise would probably be Linoan as she joins right before the split and is at least important enough to tie her to both a story promotion and Gigachad Dean. Forcing a staff unit to A route would be fine since Sara would most definitely be on B route anyways.
in america!
Kempf is the worst and I mean that in the best possible way. I love him.

i wonder if a theoretical fe5 remake would give kempf even more dialogue or just keep him as he is
"Are they being led by… a boy?
Why, he can't be more than 14 or 15!
I've got swords that are older than him!"
Bless Project Ember for that line. It's so good.
Have a good tuesday??? Aint it Thursday.
Hell yeah! The perfect 4th of July episode!
"Drawing your sword are you? What are you going to do, kill me? Stupid bitch."
The greatest villian line of all time

Kempf's Heroes artwork makes him look like Reigen Arataka and I think that's pretty funny
in America
Today is Thursday

Of course this video its upload in 4 of July
Oh yes, Kempf, Thracia's most infamous american.
everyone's favorite least favorite lightning american
i like that kempf actually retreats in gameplay rather than surviving after you kill him like every other recurring boss
