My EV is Being RECALLED as it's a FIRE HAZARD so I drove my ELECTRIC CAR to a Man who Buys Cars!

My Porsche Taycan EV is Being RECALLED as it’s a FIRE HAZARD so I drove my ELECTRIC CAR to a Man who Buys Cars! Yet again we keep seeing evidence that Electric Cars may not be safe, their batteries are highly flammable is they are not sealed properly and come in contact with moisture. Should we be worried? If you are wondering if Electric Cars are The Future and if they are safe then take a journey with me in my Electric Car to a Man who Buys Cars and let’s see what he thinks and if he has the answers.

  1. I find it amusing that people actually are stupid enough to buy a car that takes ages to refuel, has limited charging facilities. The comparison with VHS and Betaax makes you realise that EVs are actually the minidisc equivalent, all makers bought in but customers are rightly seeing it all as an impractical stunt created by self serving scientists, bought into by gullible and dim politicians, ICE is a far better option.

  2. Where i live near Bracknell its very very frustrating to drive a car you cannot get anywhere by car here why ? because roadworks temp traffic lights everywhere and worst thing is they are working on the pavement not even in the main road , dont repair pot holes no no no , instead lets repair footpaths on London road and anyone who knows that road knows no one every walks up there as its a direct footpath from Ascot to Bracknell 1 hour it would take you to walk the 4 mile distance totally crazy , E-scooters are a good idea but they are illegal unless you rent the council ones , what a scam the whole thing is , Im just thinkinh of staying home forever lying in bed and going into stasis for the next 50 years until normality is back LOL

  3. Rishi Sunak has a 5 litre supercharged V8 Range Rover wonder why ? Also i do not like how they tell us to drive EVs and save the planet but its ok for Joe Biden for example to go to Ireland with a convoy of 80 cars and 400 staff members all taken there on private jets from the USA , wonder what the carbon footprint of that is lol

  4. I have doubts about 20 mph limits when 30 mph limits don't seem to be able to be policed. I live on an estate with a 30 limit but some driving round here would give Max Verstappen and the rest of the F1 contingent a run for their money. As for 20 mph, why stop there? Why not bring back the person walking in front of your car with a red flag? Surely a win-win situation, a reduction in accidents and injuries plus reduction of unemployment ☺
    Enjoying the video.

  5. There is one good reason I would never buy a modern car. They are always online and can be controlled remotely. I do not want a vehicle that is always on the internet. I am staying old school guys.

  7. now going back to my original point What would happen to your channel if you were to make an honest video rather then just preaching to the gullible. So we have the headline my ev is being recalled. only to find that it`s not as it does not apply to your year of car. and again you perpetuate the lie that the battery cost £40,000 it does not. so rather then "in my opinion can we have the facts.

  8. A fast hybrid would give you instant talk as the battery kicks in first. I have a hybrid and from a stop the battery moves the car off and power is instant. Hopefully the future is efuels and hybrid or hydrogen. It's the lithium that's the issue.

  9. When you say, ‘you have it on finance’, you mean leased, right? Well in that case, the battery life is in the lease-price calculation, so you are paying for the degradation of the battery, just like you would be paying for the engine in an ICE car.

  10. Has to be a LABOUR councillor. Witney, Oxon, Labour cooncil. Set 20 mph speed limits; cost? 600,000,000p. Apparently (I’ve yet to check this) what they have done is not legal and they’ve asked the good burghers of Witney, to play the game. Well, I don’t live in Witney, so I follow the old rules.
Seriously, how much good could £6 million have done for the people of Witney?
    Labour are quite mad.

  12. Batteries are not just inefficient in the cold, they also are protected from the cold by being heated. Depending on the charger and if it’s cold enough, you can end up having less charge in the battery, than when you started charging it. Ridiculous things.
