125K Stamina Necromancer ESO | Lost Depths | Comprehensive Guide for PvE



HELLO Friends and WELCOME to my updated guide for the Stamina Necromancer ESO updated for the Lost Depths DLC! Damage as a whole quite frankly got hit harder than we’ve maybe ever seen. BUT, the Necro is in great shape when compared to the other class alternatives, not only keeping its importance in raid composition in general, but still pulling out phenomenal AOE and Single Target damage in general!

Written Guide

Major Changes:
– Light Attacks nerfed by 26%
– Heavy Attacks Nerfed, Resto Heavies Buffed. Medium Attack Weave is Meta but not for long
– Sticky DOTs: 20 Second Duration, 33% Damage Nerf, 50% cost reduction (no change in cost but double duration)
– AOE Changes: about a 10-15% nerf and a 15-0% cost reduction
– Major Skill Nerfs: Wall/Orb/Stamede/Carve
– Major Skill Buffs: Rapid Strikes/Channeled Acceleration
– Misc Changes: Force of Nature Nerf/Charged Nerf/Empower only effects Heavy Attacks now
– Dummy Buffed: This video shows 6K loss BUT damage was really nerfed by about 20-30K
– Boss Health: For ^this reason Boss and Bannermen health in Dungeons and Trials have been nerfed by 10%.
– Healing has been nerfed by about 20%

Basic Build Info:
– Race: Dark Elf (Khajiit Alternative)
– Mundus: Theif in 12 man Love in Solo Content
– Attributes: 64 into Stamina
– Food: Max Stam Food for most Damage/Bi Stat in Raid/Lava Foot if you have sustain issues with Stam/Jester’s Coins if you have sustain issues with Mag
Potions: Spell Power on Dummy or if you have no Blade in group/Weapon Power if there is no Sorc in Group
CP: Wrathful/Thaum/Biting/Master

Gear Set Ups:
– Traits/Enchants: Body (Divines/Max Stam)/Jewels (Bloodthirsty/Spell Damage)/Front Hand Daggers (Nirn Poison/Charged Flame)/Back Hand Greatsword (Infused/Weapon Damage)
– Beginner Set Up: Mother’s Sorrow/Order’s Wrath
– Dummy/Single Target Set Up: Rele/Pillar (Backhand)/Zaan/Kilt
– AOE Boss Set Ups:
Stationary + Stacked: Siroria/Pillar/Stormfist/Kilt
Stationary + Not Stacked: Riptide/Siroria/Stormfist/Kilt
Mobile + Stacked: Riptide/Pilla/Stormfist/Kilt
Mobile + Not Stacked: Riptide/Aegis Caller/Grothdar/Kilt
– Trash: Sul Xan or Azureblight/Burning Spell Weave
– Honorable Mentions: Tzogvins/Elf Bane + Mechanical Acuity
– Buff Sets: Elemental Catalyst/Martial Knowledge
– Mythics: Kilt/Sea Serpents Coil
– Monster: Zaan/Kjalnar for ST, Stormfist for Stacked AOE, Grothdar for Unstacked AOE
– Weapons: Asylum Daggers for Trash and Maelstrom Bow IF you use a Maelstrom Weapon (It’s still about a 10K DPS loss)

As a returning player since just before the big changes to resource pools, I have lots of older sets up to lokk, false gods etc etc…….what would be a good set up to run with rele until I can get pillar…..is AY or the likes of briarheart ok in the short term or would you suggest something else………I am short of the kinras dagger too if that would be a better option……feel like all my toons are unusable with older setups now 😭, thanks

  2. Why orb? Seems like the worst skill to run now? Rune/degen both do more dmg I think. Granted 125 is way higher than I’m hitting now. I squeezed out 103k but I don’t have a perfected rele dagger.
