Atomic Heart is an upcoming FPS action role-playing video game developed by Mundfish and published by Focus Entertainment and 4Divinity. The game is planned for release for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on February 21, 2023. Atomic Heart is an FPS video game with action role-playing elements. The combat in the game consists of shooting and slashing with improvised weapons. A wide variety of enemies are featured, which may be mechanical, biomechanical, biological, and some of which are airborne. There is a crafting system where the weapons can be pieced together from metal parts that can be detached from robots or taken from household appliances. Weapons can also be upgraded via a mechanic called “casettes.” Ammo in the game is scarce, and there is a stealth option. Quick-time events are also featured in the game. The player wears a special glove, the Polymer Glove, which grants him powers such as telekinesis, freezing, and electricity to defeat his foes. Its powers can be combined with both melee and ranged weapons. Atomic Heart takes place in Facility 3826, the Soviet Union’s foremost scientific research hub in an alternate 1955. In the 1930s, scientist Dmitry Sechenov develops a liquidized programmable module called the Polymer, sparking massive technological breakthroughs in the fields of energy and robotics in the USSR and freeing much of the populace from manual labor. These breakthroughs include a networked artificial intelligence called the “Kollektiv” linking these robots together.

Sechenov also develops a device called “Thought” to integrate Polymer into the human body, allowing remote neural interfacing with the robots as part of an improved Kollektiv 2.0.[5] However, its official launch on 13 June 1955 goes awry, plunging Facility 3826 into chaos.

  1. its not perfect but im glad i got it im only 3 hrs in on pc i think duenvo however u spell it tanks its performance somehow.Yet im blown away at this dev team who came out of nowhere and i believe it could be better in some ways like pacing and others but its a must play as of now.Its a little talkative and kinda annoying in some ways but its a mild annoyance honestly.

  2. This is not AAA title it's AA game.
Mundfish were lucky in 2018 to find investors, and after that they even received money from Microsoft and entered the game pass
And for the first game, I think this is more than a worthy result.
Most importantly this game looks good (as in trailers) and well optimized.
Also love the amount of fanservice, horny fridge Nora and Twins.

  3. in my opinion the open world is very boring because its nothing to do in the open world,on series x 144hz tv framerate drops all over the way, the melee system is very bad ( no log on system),bugy loot system ( you cant loot neuromodules but you need this to craft a rail gun) and the story is mediocre, the ending way too short and unsatisfying… 4/10

  4. Looks pretty. Terrible writing and narrative. Runs horrible 1650ti on 1080p all settings low barely playable. Constant tedious puzzles. Bullet sponge enemies spam knockdown on you and they respawn indefinitely. Platforming is bad, junky, clunky…wow nothing good i can say aside " looks". At least its free on game pass,i would shoot myself in the foot if i gave 70 bucks for this 😂
4/10 . 4 for how pretty it is and how much prey/bioshock vibes it has. Else i would give it a 2/10 😂

  5. The fact that it's akin to Bioshock has me interested. But it'll probably be one of those games that I wait two years to play after the price drops. Non of the Bioshock inspired games ever come close to that first Bioshock game for me.
