can we replace Gnarlhorn with someone else? and also painkeeper?
I'm running the "5 rares" team. It is a minute slower or so (probably slightly more on average) but I don't think I'll rebuild it anytime soon. I'd need to take my painkeeper up to 6 stars and would need to rebuild the gnarlhorn to be 10 slower and way tankier. To be honest, not sure if I would be able to get those stats on him or not. Real issue though is I'm not going to touch my ninja who is doing duty in the sand devel with the 5star aniri stat so I'd have to use Chronam who has no gear. Way too out of silver right now lol. Just going to keep doing champ training for those books and think about this later.

I did 50 runs and got 6 dust, so half the runs and half the dust. Just the worst drop rate and amounts. Shogun is pretty much end game, not that the content is extremely hard but that it's more efficient to improve your gear thru accession than to try and farm better gear. Blessing levels do matter on this boss. why you use gnarlhorn, just for HP aura?
You can also use any Reaction pieces if you have on Gnarlhorn, he only needs to survive the first hit, after that he's 100% unkillable
Heads up, according to the speedcalculator 1.2, this will fail after 3 boss cycles. He kills it quickly enough w/ ninja and brimstone for it to not be a problem. Pain Keeper at 238 gives fairly consistent 6 boss cycles.
Any key notes? My runs keep failing
I tried copying this, but for some reason my gnarlhorn, who was also at 174 speed, is only around 50% TM after the second A2 from the boss strips his unkillable, while in this video yours is around 70% TM (@6:06) I'm very confused. This of course means gnarlhorn isnt getting UK up before the boss kills hits him again and the run is ruined.
I tried adding 1 speed and it messed up the timing so he places his own unkillable too early at the beginning of the round.
Any idea how I can get gnarlhorn to take his turn before the bosses next hit at this point? Again… it's 174 speed just like in the video @6:08
Nice! I run dam-near the exact same comp, save that my Ninja is 180 speed. My runs are maybe 30 seconds slower, so I may try it your way!

really great video. I followed all instructions except for PK. I run that PK in IT but at 218 speed. It works as well and no problem. 44s to 1m runs
