Best Mouse Day Ever 1293

Good morning vloggy!! We have two huge things we need to tell you. Thing number 1 – Adley lost her very first tooth! She is no longer wiggle tooth, she’s now toothless!! We’ve discovered that she can do all sorts of tricks now, like making a banana with her tongue and that a straw from a drink fits perfectly where the tooth used to be lol! So that’s thing number one. Thing number two is crazy…. We have a mouse in our house!!

A few days ago, i was downstairs while niko and our friend Colby were playing some minecraft on the table, when a little mouse ran from the giant bean bag lovesac to our couch. I told Jenny and she kinda freaked out. Our basement is now the cleanest its ever been. All the toys have been sanitized, everything that can be off the ground is, and (most importantly) all of Adley, Niko, and Navey’s secret stashes of candy and chocolate have been cleaned up. It’s now time to find the mouse!

Adley has the great idea that we start by finding where the mouse has got into the house. So we head to the backyard, not to play on the trampoline or in the skate park, but to find a mouse hole. We look around till Adley finds it, right by one of our downstairs windows…oh man! That’s how the mouse has been getting in our house!! We head back inside to look around. We look in closets and under tables, behind the couch and in all the cushions. This is like playing a game of hide n seek with a pro hider.

After a while of searching, Jenny grabs some traps that she bought. These are humane traps, so they wont hurt the little guy. Just catch him so we can release him later, like the fish Adley caught up at the cabin when we saw the fox! Everyone gets their own traps, so we put food like cheese and peanut butter in them before placing them. Niko Bear puts his by the TV and I put mine under the couch. Adley puts her trap by the toys and Jenny teams up with Navey to put their trap by the pretend play kitchen. With all the traps set, we head out so the mouse can come out.

We head to my mom’s house for a birthday party. We have a niece that is turning 1 year old so we are having a big family bash for her. We have cupcakes and say hi to the chickens. My sister has some balloon rocket ships that she helps the kiddos launch way up in the air before she and Adley start playing with snapchat filters lol. It was a great party and so much family fun!!

It’s now the moment of truth!! We are home and we have to check the traps to see if we caught the mouse! After checking mine and Niko’s it looks like we haven’t caught anything yet. Adley’s trap is also empty but there is something inside Jenny and Navey’s trap! We caught him!! He’s a cute little mouse and the kiddos really like him. But he can’t stay in the house. So we jump in the Tesla and head to pirate island to release him in the wild but still somewhere we can be friends.

We all say our goodbyes before Adley opens the door and the mouse runs free! Bye little mousey (who the kiddos named Elsa Fluffy Mouse lol) we will miss you!!…well maybe not Jenny
