A mother has told a coronial inquest how her teenage daughter was crushed and suffocated to death on “the dirty floor of a grotty Dunedin flat” during an over-run student party five years ago.
At first, Sophia Crestani’s parents believed it was a tragic accident – until evidence suggested that a culture of out-of-control parties played a significant role.
