Storm chaser worked the bear’s cage to observe tornadoes otherwise wrapped in rain. Supercells often will ramp up given a change in the terrain. As this storm approached the Caprock, it developed tornado potential!
Definitely the bear Cage. The precip must have been rapidly rotating adound the parent tornado/updraft really fast, The ones in this video look to be at 60 to 70, gusting to near 80.
Hearing you yell…and knowing that they may not be hearing you over the rain and other storm sounds reminds me of when I used to take the cb radio and set it to p a….when I was a child….
This live stream scared me silly watching from my bed in the uk last night. Agreeing with everyone else on here the storm seemed very aggressive. Glad you are okay Reed with just a minor wound 🌪️
