San Diego man killed in Baja California shooting

A San Diego man has been identified as one of ten victims killed in a shooting in Mexico on May 20, Mexican officials confirmed.

Roberto Isaias Ayala, 22, a father, husband, and son, was killed by crossfire during an apparent gunfight at a racing event in the San Vicente area of Baja California’s Ensenada city.

On Sunday, the Baja California State Attorney General’s Office said through a release that he believed the violent acts were a confrontation between members of organized crime.

  1. Always amazes me how every single one of us suddenly becomes a saint upon dying. "Caring, generous, always smiling, the life of the party, a smile that lit up the room, give you their last dollar, always willing to help, blah, blah, blah…" If Hitler died today, that's what his obituary would read too.

  3. They were after some guy nicknamed "El Trebol" he was a drug trafficker that owed for a 39 ton coke drug bust… he was working for the sinaloa drug cartel. They killed him and his girlfriend and his bodyguards returned fire but were overwhelmed by the firepower of the shooters. The rest of the victims were collateral damage.
