  1. I love the deck but what’s really holding it back for me is the fact that so many games I have the interest in playing aren’t even playable on it. Wish it was windows instead Linux to begin with

  2. I would love to buy this game for my steam deck but the prospect of taking the time to get dual boot properly set up feels kind of daunting. I spend more time trying to set up games than I do actually playing nowadays.

  3. Don't use VSync. When you're in Windows, use RivaTuner Statistics Server's framerate limiter instead. No performance loss, no input lag, no stutter, no nothing. Same level of smoothness. Better battery savings too. You can raise the screen resolution in game because of this, or decrease the TDP to get even better battery life.

  4. Ive always used windows. I know how it runs with its programs and usb devices. Some after market products and even updates makes me use windows only for offline work station, like a media laptop.

  5. The steam deck is too new to really know what its going to become. Overall a good video to review it and test its performance.
Ideas to get a newer console and larger tv, For the price.
Another tip is to get your moneys worth and keep it as a spare device to test out available games.

  6. Imagine how good would it run with native support for M1 and M2 macs..Macs would become ultimate gaming consoles like the steam deck is..Like..Macs already are ultimate gaming consoles..but nobody makes native games for them..Anyways nice video, Steam Deck is a nicely balanced product in terms of price and power. I love that

  7. If by incredible you mean an incredibly bad idea than yeah it is. MW2 is now for PC players meaning you and your analog sticks are SOL. Multiplayer is unplayable on a controller interface period.

  8. Could you please do tutorials for MSI Afterburner installed on the Steam Deck with W10/11. Lots of people have problem like me with showing all information. On your video all options is available but we can't used them especially FPS, Temp, etc.
I really hope you can help us, please.

  9. Does anyone know how to set up custom graphics profiles? Ie one for the default Steam deck and for one when docked to TV. You can have both running extremely smooth at 60ps but can't seem to find a setting that works for both, and have to change things before and after docking

  10. Kernel level anticheat on a (near future) Microsoft title, restricting access on a Linux machine in favor of expensive Xbox Cloud Streaming or installing Windows 11. Definitely not shady.

  11. Probably not going to buy COD on the Deck, but this demo convinced me it's finally time to install Windows on an SD card. Wonder if performance will be better in games like Horizon and GOW.

  12. Thank you for a great video! I’m assuming you have Win11 installed on the internal storage and not a SD or external storage right? I have Win10 installed on a MicroSD and I assume it probably wouldn’t run MW2?
