I wish analysts would stop referring to US foreign policy as being handed down from our presidents. As bad as they can be, they are doing the bidding of a conglomerate of corporations and private individuals, for various reasons from economic gain to belief in end-times prophecy.

I love the way Galloway makes Trump out to be some kind of chandelier swinging hedonist, not realising that Trump’s teetotal; he lost his older brother to alcoholism and in part due to this, he doesn’t smoke and doesn’t drink.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they actually met each other, they’d find they’ve got a lot in common.

US is a bit more friendly towards China now because Europe doesn't pose a threat economically and US will make Europe dependent on it in terms of energy etc. This means US can become stronger than China economically.
