This is a PasseParTout (PPT) mini tracked vehicle that my Dad picked up over 30 years ago. He got it as a total basket case, missing the engine, most of the hull rusted away, and only one track installed. Back in the mid 90’s I welded up the hull and got the track back on. He repowered it with a lawn mower engine, but I never saw that run. In this video I drag it out of the barn where it’s been sitting for decades and do another re-power, this time with a Rotax fan cooled twin from a Ski-Doo Citation 300.

Can you say "Rube Goldberg"?
looks like a fun toy for sure, good work
That is the coolest thing. Awesome!!!!
Geez I thought i was mechanically smart.
"Scientifically proven, rust is a great thread locker."
Indeed.
This was an amazing production. Thank you Low Buck!
I've had good results from heating a nylock nut after taking it off. Gotta just heat the threads the best you can and they melt so when you reuse the nut it makes kinda sorta new threads holding the nut firm
Now for the machine gun mount: I found this one laying around. . .
Red neck lock nut. Silicon rubber on bolt . it works
Love this channel
if you put a real 2 stroke exhaust pipe on it ..that little thing will fly …right now that exhaust is like a governor….🙂
second chance to drain the swamp ?, heres fingers crossed
I know a fella up here in Maine with one
ta couroie est trop longue
Almost like an old snowmobile with tracks.
Great video!
That beast is a thing of beauty
I remember these from way back, we got our first snowmobile in 1968, I was 13, and I remember seeing this in a magazine.
Wholly shit haventseen one of these since i was ten and we started it up and that machine took of with me and my dad chasing behind it lol pass port two
Now if they made these electric so it's silent it would be unstoppable in crucial in wars
Awesome! Just need some headlights, a few cannons maybe. Very cool keeping Dad's legacy alive.
It’s not hoarding if you make cool stuff from it.
Now that is one S I C K ride
A lovely video. I recognize that certain satisfaction of being able to complete something using only what you have. Thanks for sharing – and for picking up trash 🙂
