OV a's first then slime diaries the OV a's have a lot of interactions with some characters that are coming up to get you'll see after this current arc. And a very very important character that you'll first meet this season as the last episode or is the second to last episode now I think it's the last episode. A very very important character to keep an Eye out for both in the OV a's and then much later on in season 2

9:23 here, Ă°ere's a word Ă°at was completely mistranslated, to Ă°e point you might as well consider it censorship. Ăe word is Shura, which is commonly mistaken wiĂ° Ă°e Indian Asura. I am not sure what is similar but Shura or äżŽçž are depicted as malicious bloodĂžirsty warror gods/demons who kill everyĂžing Ă°ey see. It's a bit of a common folklore and fairy tale in Japan, Ă°at if you kill too much people, and forget about mercy, reasonableness, and kindess towards your kin, you become a Shura. Ăis is especially a prevalent Ăžing in Ă°e game called Sekiro, for example, where Ă°ere's a Shura route, and your mentor and his friend warn you about becoming a Shura, since Ă°e game involves killing a lot of opponents.

Lycanthropes are probably third amongst the races who most strongly follow Survival of the FIttest (after Demons and Harpies) so he defaulted to trying to prove his dominance when he arrived in Tempest over races that are inferior in power to Lycanthropes with the exception of the Kijin and Rimuru.
You also have to remember that people have a bad habit of conflating the title of Demon Lord with the Prestige Class so people (even their followers) tend to lump Carrion, Frey and Clayman in the same tier of power with the rest of the Demon Lords who either have the title as well as raw power rivalling those with the Prestige Class or have both the title and prestige class like Milim. Because of this and the fact that Carrion, Frey and Clayman are the most active Demon Lords, people tend to judge all of the Demon Lords as being in the same tier as the three Demon Lord Seeds.

Milim changed clothes with a Spatial Magic spell called Dress Change. It's magic that allows the user to instantly swap out their equipment with replacements inside spatial storage or similar without the need to undress. It's basically Requip from Fairy Tail.
Spatial Storage is an Extra Skill and a fundamental spell in Spatial Magic. It allows the user to store things away in a subspace similar to the "Stomach" of the Unique Skill Predator.

Lesser Dragons as the name suggests are the lowest of all Dragon species. They have no elemental powers and are basically just flying reptiles akin to Pterosaurs. Basilisks, JiminryĹŤ (Ground Dwelling Dragons) and Wyverns are all subspecies of Lesser Dragon.
Lesser Dragons are on average between B+ and A-rank in power. So the clowns are pretty strong to kill a lot of them. To kill as many as they did so easily the clowns must be at least Special A-rank or perhaps even S-rank in power.

Calamity-class (a classification for threats that could potentially bring down an entire country, usually possessing several high-ranking Majin subordinates and boasting a considerable level of influence) is the equivalent of Special A-rank but that is only Charybdis' official ranking thanks to dumb humans who disregarded the full extent of Charybdis' power thanks to its lack of intelligence which led to it not being considered as much of threat as it should be.
In truth, Charybdis is S-rank or Disaster-class in power. Disaster-class is a classification reserved for Demon Lords, beings who possess enough power and influence to rival a large country, requiring a powerhouse nation like Ingrassia to stand a chance against. The qualifications to be placed here are strict, with individuals of sufficient power often not being ranked here due to special factors and to not make the public think that Demon Lord-level individuals are roaming the world freely unchecked.

I'm glad Rimuru didn't hide the truth from Fuze or the trio. The fact that he shared such knowledge (especially since it helps explains Rimuru's power, intelligence and scientific knowledge) really helped earn the trust of a normally paranoid intelligence officer like Fuze.
Depends on the order in which you react to the next in the series, it could change as you watch the rest, I recommend watching everything in broadcast order, although you could watch slime diaries last while waiting for the third anime season

Greek Myth of Charybdis:
Charybdis was once a beautiful giantess, the daughter of Poseidon and Gaea. She takes the form of a huge mouth that swallows great amounts of water and debris three times a day, creating multiple massive whirlpools.
Charybdis was very loyal to her father in his endless feud with Zeus; it was she who rode the hungry tides after Poseidon had stirred up a storm, and led them onto the beaches, covering whole villages, submerging fields, drowning forests, claiming them for the sea. It is the origin of the phrase "between a rock and a hard place" – the rock upon which Scylla dwelt and the hard place being the whirlpool of Charybdis.

It allows the user to disturb the flow of Magicules making the user strongly resistant to Magic and disturbing any external uses of Magicules.
Harpies use it to negate the flying ability of others to gain an advantage in the air. Skillful users among them can inject it through direct contact with their claws to disturb the internal magicule flow of others to negate any use of Magic and Skills.

Gluttony is a Unique Skill that is the evolved form of the Unique Skill Predator created by Rimuru by combining Predator with the Orc Disaster Geld I's Unique Skill Starved using Shizue's Unique Skill Degenerate.
Sub-Skills:
-Predation: Absorbs the target into the body. If the target is conscious, however, the success rate greatly decreases. The affected targets include but aren't limited to: organic matter, inorganic matter, skills, and magic. As a part of Gluttony, Predation can now be used from a far greater range.
-Stomach: Where all absorbed targets are stored. Items produced via Analysis can also be stored. Anything that is stored in the Stomach is not affected by time. As part of Gluttony, Stomach's capacity is doubled.
-Mimicry: Replicates the absorbed target's appearance. The skills and abilities used by the target can also be used. However, this depends on the successful analysis and acquisition of relative information regarding the target.
-Isolation: Harmful materials or unnecessary things for analysis can also be stored. They will be used to replace magic energy.
-Corrosion: The ability to decompose the target in conjunction with Predation. It also has the ability to add the abnormal condition of decomposition. There is a chance of acquiring an ability after consuming only a part of a target's body. However, the chance of that happening is less than consuming the whole body.
-Receive: It is possible to acquire skills from the subordinates under the user's influence. The original owner of the received skill will not lose the skill. Magic and knowledge cannot be transferred.
-Provide: The user can grant an ability to the subordinates under the user's influence or linked to the user's soul. It can only provide skills that the target is compatible with.

Gravity Manipulation is an Extra Skill Rimuru obtained when he absorbed Charybdis' Core. It enables the user to manipulate and utilize gravity. It can be used like Gravity Flight to float in the air naturally without the use of wings or Magicules, making use of natural gravity waves. Using it in tandem with gravity-manipulating wings, flight-enabling Arts, or Flight Magic can enhance flight speed significantly. It is possible to use this Skill in an Anti-Magic Area, but its effects will be difficult to fine-tune.

Even without great sage rimuru is extremely genious for his physiological because he is a slime . Every cell of his body wark as brain's.
2:20 I get why characters in-story fall for that behaviour but I'm not sure why people in real-life do. Clearly, she knows exactly what she's doing which makes "you should learn to be as open-minded and restrained as I am" joke to Shion even better. Basically, Eminence in Shadow approach. At least in the main series she's shown as such but in Diaries she's indeed too silly.
Milim is perfectly capable of great schemes, cause she thinks like million times faster than a normal person, has millenia of knowledge and insights into skills and etc. itâs not that he doesnât know what her actions meanâŚshe just doesnât care. She learned to block off her memories, to block of what she hears and just embraced the nonchalant attitude. Itâs actually one of the common lifestyles that have been written in the âProblems of the immortalâ. Itâs essentially the notion of erasing your memories every X years and then just live again.
Gazel treats Rimuru like his junior because they both learned swordsmanship from Hakurou (though he was unnamed when he taught Gazel).
Slime diaries is like a slice of life spinoff, is cute and all but doesn't have much if a continuity to the overall story. Season 2 is pretty amazing tho. I'm currently reading the light novels and I can't wait for them to animate what's even further. There's enough content to make like 10 seasons and it's an amazing story đ

i am also sad that shuna didnt get much screentime, sometime she didnt get credit even tho she is protecting the town with her magic. She is strong just like other kijins(not in fighting but master in magic), but everyone treat her as princess and protect her so she is always left behind whenever there is a fight

Even though slime diaries takes place between season 1 and 2 i suggest you watch just the OVA's after S1 then watch S2 THEN slime diaries bc its not all too important but a fun side watch.
