  1. wait, is this some charon marathon happening here? i wouldn't mind that, maybe that makes those games get some recognition here in the not-japanese people and makes the new ones get translated faster
sometime i recommend trying Menherafflesia and Dice Psycho, those are by far the best ones
Vanilla – Garden of Judgement and Kaleido Stella are really good too, the other ones are from good to mediocre, but are nice to play just to see the connections between some games

  2. Thanks for revisiting this. I'm very nostalgic for your old RPG Maker horror playthroughs and I'd love to see you play through them all again. I myself love revisiting things, and wish more let's players/ streamers would go back to the classics more often.

  3. This one is such a classic, heck yeah! Always love your variety of games, but horror was where I first found you, and spooky games remain some of my very faves that you play~

  4. It finally happened… you find a girl you really like and go over to her house for tea. As an added bonus she makes you dinner.
But, we never find out what she's making.
However, there is a garden with several beautiful flowers. There must be high quality fertilizer at work.

  5. That true ending is just… why? She killed her abusive parents? Sure, I guess. But Yukimaru? He was innocent, and the fact that the true ending (which also seems to be the 'good' ending) ignores that and lets these two psychos live happy ever after is kinda disgusting. Maybe I'm getting too riled up, but the way they put that ending made it feel very genuine in the morals that the story tries to convey.

  6. I kinda get where the true ending was trying to go. The idea that she accidentally killed her parents. Panics, goes crazy with fear and guilt. And then things spiral more out of control when a student finds out and assumes the worse. Only for her to kill him in a rage filled panic to keep it a secret.

Alone with three rotting corpses. It's only a matter of time before the police find out. And then she meets protag kun. She sets up this whole thing, not to kill you. But as a desperate cry for help. Because she's going insane and is only barely just sane enough to realize it. And really doesn't know what to do anymore.

That said, this probably isn't a good way to handle mental health issues. Or an accidental murder, and it's left up in the air rather or not the ending takes place outside of a mental health institute. Because I really doubt the police didn't search that house and find the bodies. Not with 3 missing people and bills probably piling up.

  7. Hype for more RPGMaker Horror (and similar games)
Also uh… Pikasprey you might want to know your RPG Maker game playlists are in reverse upload order, so all the later episodes play before the earlier ones.

  8. It's funny because there's several pseudo sequels to this game that addresses the fact that Mikoto didn't go to jail, which I would also recommend playing (tho they are just full on visual novels). One of them is called Childhood Innocence the other one is called Dice Psycho
