In the Land of Mordor, Sauron is slowly rising to power after a long 3,000 years of being defeated by the last alliance. The Black Hand of Sauron takes back the Black Gate and slaughtered the people there. Talion, a ranger from the gate was killed, but a wraith is preventing death. He sets out across Mordor to hunt down the Black Hand of Sauron.
Talion meets an orc traitor named Ratbag, and he is willing to help the ranger weaken the army to get close to the Black Hand of Sauron.
