Michael Yo & Tia Carrere | Adam Carolla Show 02/07/2023

In the first half, Actress Tia Carrere and comedian Michael Yo join Adam as he laments about the mislabeling of โ€œhoneyโ€ products before they compare some terrible company mascots from AMPM, Mucinex, and Lamisil. They all discuss insincere musical artists and get into a heated debate about the music of Prince.

In the second half, Tia Carrere and Michael Yo continue their conversation with Adam as they break down highlights from the 65th Annual Grammy Awards and DJ Khaled reminds Adam of his grandmother hosting potluck dinners as a ponzi scheme. Finally, they hear about a 9-year-old graduating high school and a fisherman revealing his encounter with former cop Christopher Dorner.

  1. I'm a fan of Michael Yo but he needs to wise up. If the police shoot you in the leg that's poor marksmanship. They are shooting to kill as it should be to eliminate a severe threat to themselves or the public. Hitting them in the leg doesn't stop the threat. Perhaps they should shoot the gun out of his hand like Roy Rogers! Biden was the last chucklehead to say something so stupid. Don't be a Biden!

  2. It's like a Filipino , Hawaiian , Samoan show with all three Asian Pacific s , AC is really opening himself up to the modern day world ๐ŸŒŽ ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฅƒ๐Ÿšฌ

  3. Problem with female performers: they are at the mercy of management and producers and record companies. Their talent is genuine but the machines they get attached to can't deliver for them.

  4. Tia's awesome. Adam offended her, yet she didn't have a tantrum, crawl off to a safe space, claim abuse, just let her feelings be known and moved on. It can still happen! Us old folks are pretty awesome! And Where have all the Cowboys Gone is indeed an awesome song, despite the man hate lol.

  5. Only two good prince songs: purple rain and let's go crazy Lionel Ritchie had stuck on you and easy, and then the commodores. The rest was just putting out songs coasting off his name. Nobody else would have gotten any attention with those other songs. Elton John's later stuff after Bernie Halperin was bad and Phil Collins later stuff was awful. The first album from any act is usually their best stuff, then downhill. Bono from U2 needed to go away after their 3rd album at the latest.

  7. 11:09 Tia did not appreciate the c word ๐Ÿ˜‚ and he doubled down with the hair comment – "when the bra's off" was sensational ๐Ÿ˜† BTW don't hate on my majestic beard AND glasses combo, which allow me to really consider everything.

  9. I listen to the podcast but come here to comment. Standup and radio is about workmanlike precision. Adams humble beginnings is what makes him great. Like many of the great boxers, standups, radio personalities and contractors of our time. That and the ability to see truth. And the courage to live it. Great guests. Great show. Thank you.

  10. This particular show is proof Adam needs a nice mama type reeling him in from his old age bitter divorced dude routine. Even if itโ€™s only a 17% drop in sourness itโ€™s a winโ€ฆ

  11. When it comes to Adam's take on Prince, he is definitely a comedian. Makes me laugh. You can't say, " I love all music" and then dismiss an artist who is one of the all time best in his genre.
