  1. Exciting times ahead! This will be the best ownership group in Sens history, and it's not even close! I didn't think the announcement would come until after the Stanley Cup was handed out.

    Congrats on the house Pillzy!

  2. They missed the playoffs 6 straight years, essentially all of it in last place. Clean house! Fresh coat of paint! It's exactly what the players need, whether they know it or not….I think deep down they know it's the best thing….for everyone! Oprah! lol Good one!!

  3. No!No!No! To Roy coaching the Sens next year. The coach and GM deserve to see this through next year.

Dorian has done a great job identifying young talent. His albatross, until this past season, has been finding established players. DJ has taken Tkachuk and Chabot, and has taken the young players added and almost made the playoffs. A big if, the next round of kids might be the difference.

6 years ago, they were close to upsetting Pittsburgh. Unexpectedly, they missed the next year. In the off-season began a teardown. Then have spent 4 years watching the playoffs. A real teardown and rebuild takes 5 years.

This is the show me year for Dorian and DJ.

  4. ugh, implying that the Sens might win the Cup within the next 4 years is typical hype bs. I think Sens fans are just happy they aren't stuck anymore with a cheap owner. We'll see how competitive this team will actually be.
