  1. Loved the training vlog, especially hearing your advice to Izzy and Tiny, as you can immediately see how your advice improves their performance. Max looked amazing and full of va va voom, but in a controlled way ❤

  2. Hi Ashley — Thanks for taking us along for the ride on Max — literally! ("V – decent" of you! – haha) All four of you — looking focused out there! Nice! JV

  3. Well done guys both horses and riders looking confident and cracking, 100 next season Izzy, i thought Tiny could've popped some of those novice combos easily and Max, what a star as usual, onward and upward. 🙂

  4. You cant hold a hot horse, Tension creates more Tension… your strong on your left rein, he seems to be bent that way a lot when he gets strong?? interesting… crazy Brits, never deterred by rain… lol… looks like a good memory.

  5. Loved riding along with you on go-pro. Many years since I have had the opportunity to ride around a xc course so that felt fabulous. I can now appreciate how tricky Max can be to ride when he is excited. He was loving it. Great to see Izzy and Tiny jumping so well and looking confident. Amazing progress. Thanks for sharing x

  7. I like the training vlogs, esp. your analysis of what's going on right or wrong. Then I can (try to!) transfer that knowledge to the competition rides. You both looked phenomenal out there, confident, having fun, horses and riders learning together. Ashley, you asking, " Max could you get involved?" cracked me up, esp. when the next frame showed him with a mouthful of hay, like, "Yeah, I'm getting the snacks, you want some?" And good for Kato, being there when you needed him to get your confidence back. Izzy & Tiny are looking great, really making progress, you are a good teacher, using encouragement & being specific, Izzy is a good student, & Tiny looks like he enjoys the jumping & is ready for more!

  8. Great vlog with the training. Not great weather but worth it in the end. Specially if you get caught in the rain at a competition then least you'll be used to it. I know its not nice getting soaking through and going through the water wont help but add to it.. great vlog. ❤
